What about dental implants for people with allergy
Q. What about dental implants for people with allergy? Are dental implants safe for them? Is it possible to check if dental implants won’t be problematic before operation?
A. Dental implants are made from surgical grade titanium. This is normally inert and people with metal allergies normally don’t react to it. It is the same metal that is used in other replacement joints in the body.If you are concerned about it then you may be able to have an alergy test. You would need to get a referral from your doctor to the allergy department at the hospital.
