Treatment for broken dental bridge
Q. I am an insulin dependant diabetic and have a bridge in the upper right side of my mouth. I have broken the supporting back tooth of the bridge and wondered what cosmetic dentistry would be appropriate for me as I do not wish to have a denture?,
A. It sounds like it might be difficult to make a new bridge to fill the space. If this is the case then you may need to consider dental implants to fill the missng teeth. Implant can be susceptable to problems in some diabetic patients, however the majority work wll providing your diabetes is well controlled and your oral hygniene is excellent
