Too young for dental implants?
Q. My 17 1/2 year old daughters adult eye teeth were never formed. She is currently having orthodontic work to make spaces for maryland bridges. But we are now seriously considering implants. Is she too young and will there be enough bone? Thank you Regards Mrs E Pearce,
A. She needs to have completely stopped growing. Once she has implants can be placed but the issue is the other teeth growing down as life goes on – she is likely to have to have the implant crown replaced at a later date .
