There’s a Space Above My Invisalign Aligner Surface. Will it Affect My Treatment?

Q.
I’m on Invisalign treatment now on aligner number 14 out of 48. I just discovered that my front tooth is slightly chipped, about less than 2 mm. I noticed that one of my front teeth has become smaller and checked the fitness of my aligner. There’s an obvious space above the surface. I don’t experience any pain whatsoever but I’m worried that this will this affect my treatment. If so, what do I need to be prepared for?

Hi, thank you for your question. Ask your dentist to repair it at least temporarily, they’ll be able to help you as they are familiar with your case. Regards, Mark.
