There is plaque on my wisdom tooth, should i get it filled to avoid tooth ache?
Q. thankyou very much for having answered my earlier query. i have another problem and that is there is plaque on my wisdom tooth. As of now it does not pain. should i get the tooth filled to avoid any tooth ache? and if i do so then how long would the filling last?,
A. Dental plaque is a film of bacteria and debris that builds up on tooth surfaces. The bacteria in dental plaque cause tooth decay, bad breath and gum disease. Effective toothbrushing will remove dental plaque. Rob

thanx a lot for ur reply. but i got my wisdom tooth filled already bcoz the the dentist felt that i needed somefilling to be done there.
