Hello Dr Moore. About one third of one of my back molars broke off a while ago, and as I have a huge fear of dentists I have not been to see anyone about it. Now it is really hurting, I bit into something and it was excruciating, an now it’s constantly aching. I suffer from anxiety, and I was wondering if they would offer gas to put me to sleep as I also have a huge phobia of needles. Also would you be able to give me an idea of what I might be in for? Thank you in advance for your help with this.

Hello. It’s difficult to say what kind of work may be needed as a close inspection could open different treatment options for you.
