The teeth either side of my maryland bridge and gone dark grey. What can be done to whiten them?
Q. i had a meryland bridge fitted to one of my front upper teeth 5 years ago and the teeth either side have gone very dark grey. What can i do to get whiter teeth back.,
A. This is the metal wings on the back of the teeth shining through the teeth. The only way of correcting this is to replace the bridge with either a new bridge using a more opaque cement to mask the greyness or to replace the bridge with a dental implant- doing away with the need for the wings completely
