the enamel has been removed from my two front teeth

Q. Hi, the enamel has been removed from my two front teeth and grey areas have began to appear at the bottom i asked my doctor about fillings behind the teeth but they said it was not possible due to my bottom teeth being behind my top. i don’t really want to get veneers because of the expense, damaging my teeth as im only 21 is there anything else i can have done to remove the see through/ grey areas cheers

A. You have a wear or erosion problem – this can be complex to treat but veneers are often the simplest solution . A proper examination to assess the cause of the loss of enamel is essential before treatmetn is decided upon.

On a few of my teeth there seems to be a piece of enamel missing just clear underneath. ı have none of the usual causes and am perplexed. I am taking a beta blocker and use a cortisone cream on and off for a skin problem Thanks
