Q. Hi, I am 43. I had a bridge to replace one of my front tooth around 6 years ago. It was one of those which has a metal wing attached to the healty tooth. Things went well for long time but then it came out and I went to dentist to re-installed and it last one month the first time and a week the second time. Now I done it for the 3rd time and it is in place for more than a month but I have to very carefull not to eat in front and it really fills unconfortable. Implant are quite expensive and knowing that I have a crown next to the bridge whet will be the next best thing to do? Will a full replacement of the bridge help? Thanks
A. If one of the teeth is already crowned then it might be worth thinking about a new bridge perhaps using this tooth to anchor a conventional fixed bridge.
