Teeth Whitening & Breastfeeding
Q. Teeth Whitening & Breastfeeding – Please could you advise me if there is any risk associated with whitening my teeth while still breastfeeding my baby. I was advised by my dentist that there was not, however the information accompanying my polanight teeth whitening system advises not to use this solution while pregnant or breastfeeding. I am therefore unsure whether or not it is safe to proceed. Can you help? Thank you.
A. Hi many thanks for your enquiry, i dont feel there is any risk of whitening the teeth and breast feeding however if the instructions on the polar night system say not to do this while you are breast feeding then i would have to follow the official line and say i advise not to do it.
