Hello Marcus. Could you please help me? I would like the perfect smile. I would like veneers, 6 at the top and 8 at the bottom and 1 dental implant. I would like large white veneers. I’ve seen it done on embarrassing bodies. They file them down to pegs then put temps on until yours are made. My teeth are not too good but I want them to really stand out so that I’m smiling all day. Could you tell me how you do this please and give me a rough guide on what price it may be? Thank you.
Hi Dr Hughes. I have had braces in the past, but my front teeth relapsed slightly after the treatment had finished. I am due to turn 21 this year and I have been unhappy with my 4 top front teeth for a while. I have spent a lot of money on my braces to still be this unhappy. I think my teeth are oddly shaped and they push out from the side. I was considering veneers or something similar, would these be suitable to change the shape of my teeth? I would like some advice on what my options would be. I am not very familiar with veneers or the price range but I am willing to consider my options. Thank you in advance.
Hi Mark. I’ve had a lot of trouble with my teeth in the past and I’ve had corrective treatment. I turned down braces due to a metal phobia and at the time (I was 16) my parents could not afford the invisalign braces. I’m now 18 and as the dentist warned me that my teeth would move (this is due to having my 2 fangs out as they grew in front of my teeth with two flat ones behind them. I really want veneers and the question is how much does it cost per tooth. I’ve researched loads but haven’t ever found an accurate price!

I was looking at having a full set of veneers or new teeth done as when I was younger I had a accident and I’m really not happy with them. Hello Dr Patel, I have a question for you. How long do dental veneers last? And do you think it is worth having them? My teeth are quite discoloured and not very straight. Would this be a good method compared to let’s say braces. I was considering getting braces but then I was told about this option. Are the veneers permanent, or do they not last very long? How long will the procedure normally take and is it painful in any way? If you could give me a quote that would be great.

Hello Dr Moore. I’m 19 years old and I have been considering veneers for ages now. My teeth are straight but a bit bucked, they have small gaps but have stopped growing. When I bite I can rub the bottom of my teeth with my jaw clenched as my top half has moulding round my thumb as I used to suck my thumb when I was little. I also have fangs on both the bottom and the top and I hate them. I just never smile. I just wanted to know what would the price be for 12 teeth as I would rather this than braces.

Hi, I have a horrible teeth sticking out since I was a little, I am now 49 years old and my dream was always to wake up and have straight front teeth especially as I have been bullied all my life because of my teeth. I have had a gap in between my teeth since childhood. This gap has expanded over the years and has become significantly noticeable. Hello Dr Shaffie, I have fluorosis so my teeth are patchy with white marks and some are a brown, yellow colour. When I was younger I was told that by the time I was 16 years old, I could get free help on the NHS but there has been no help to improve my teeth. Would I be a able to get veneers off the NHS as I can’t afford the whole amount to be done privately? It’s really making an impact on my social life and it’s about time I got help as I feel like I’ve suffered for long enough.
