Is It Possible To Get Veneers On The NHS?

Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013
Q.

Hi, my question is can I get veneers on the NHS at any dentist as long at they treat NHS patients I have a gap in my front teeth and I refuse too smile in a picture, I have had it all my life. A few years ago I was at my dentist and I asked for veneers on the NHS and they said they won’t do them on the NHS at that dentist but I seen my friend a couple of months ago and she’s at the same dentist that I was at and she has had veneers done and its hard for me now too smile at job interviews or when I socialize, because I haven’t got the confidence any more as what I did have after growing up and wanting my gap closed up I am only 19 going on 20 and wanted it done since I was 13 could you help me by telling me if I can get it done and where?

Friday, January 18th, 2013
Q.

Hello, Dr. Shaffle I really want a smile makeover, I am in a lot of pain through rotten teeth and also have what looks like an extra tooth, like a pointy fang growing over the top of my others. I can’t afford the work and my credit rating is poor so finance is not an option. What can I do/?
It is upsetting me greatly and the pain really is reallyI n bad at times.
Any advice would be very greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance and I look forward to reading your response

Can I get treatment for my misaligned teeth on the NHS?

Wednesday, September 26th, 2012
Q.

Hi Mark,
I have two chipped front teeth from a accident when I was 9years old. Over the years my teeth have grown and misshaped and now very wonky and overlapping each other now at 23 years old. Is there anyway I can get veneers or treatment on the top four teeth on the nhs? It’s stopped me smiling and I’m so self conscious of it, I hate them. If I had the money I would of had them done years ago. It’s just so expensive but I can not leave them like this any longer.

Please help me with some advice!

Thank you.
