Hi Julian, Back two years ago I had retainers to bring my jaw forward because it was 0.8 Mm forward than the bottom jaw. I could not keep the retainers in and had them for about 6months, now my jaw is naturally going forward, I measured it about it about 0.4mm. Now that its going forward its self, do you think the NHS will allow me to have ‘train track’ braces? Sorry about my terminology ! My two front teeth have stuck out since I was young, the other teeth are now pushing behind the two front teeth, making them stick out further and now a gap is occuring between the two teeth at the front. What sort of treatment would it require? Would the NHS accept me back? If not, how much would you think it would cost going private. Thanks very much.,

hi i just wanted to know that basically before i had my braces done when i was about 13 or 14, they gave me the retainer after but then because i was not able to speak properly (my speech was not clear) i no longer wore them, i have recently turned 15 and my teeth have become the same as it was before the braces was put on, my question is that can i put braces on again without paying?,

Hello there,i was wondering if you could help me.When i was about 12 i had 4 larger teeth removed towards the back of my mouth.2 on the top and 2 on the bottom.I had these removed due to overcrowding.I then had fixed train track braces fitted on the top and bottom of my teeth.I had these fixed for about a year but i had them removed as i was getting constant headaches and we thought this might be causing the problem.Since having the teeth removed and the braces fitted my appearence has totally changed.My jaw is completely crooked which is totally noticeable, especially in photographs where i cannot stand to look at myself.My face itself has become alot longer and thinner and the the pallet in my mouth has caved in.Instead of being a nice u shape it is much more like a v shape and it feels as though i am biting on the side of my teeth.When i have seen my dentists they say that there is nothing wrong but this has being really bothering me for years and it is my crooked jaw that really upsets me and i am desperate to try and sort this out and have a straight face again.Please can you help me.Look forward to hearing from you. My 3 year old daughter has suddenly developed a grey line going down her front two top teeth. It looks like someone has drawn on them with a pencil. Is this anything to worry about. Her teeth feel smooth so there are no ridges. Any advice and help much appreciated.

Hi there, I have a question about teeth straightening. I had braces as a teenager but over the years my teeth have started to move causing my front two teeth to overlap. I have perfectly healthy teeth, but only 24 of them so are consequently very gappy teeth – in parts my lower teeth are in front of my upper. I really dont want veneers- as I dont want to destroy my teeth, and even so have been told the gaps are too wide. i have been told train tracks are the only option. At 38, I really want to avoid this. would invisalign be strong enough to move my teeth- is there an alternative . Do I need to live near the dentist? I am really stuck!
