Is it possible for me to have bridge instead of implant?

Thursday, February 25th, 2010
Q.
Due to an abscess I lost a tooth, the second one from the back upper right side, I was told I couldn’t have a bridge as I had virgin teeth either side and to opt for an implant, is it possible to have a bridge and is it the cheaper option? Although you can’t see the gap when I speak, I do have a big mouth and wide smile and it makes me feel very awkward now in company and I tend to smile lopsidedly. Many thanks,

What cheap treatment is there to help close tooth gap?

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I have been paranoid about my teeth since forever i have recently turned 17 and there is a gap between my teeth at least 1cm or maybe more i don’t know how big it is, because its big enough to bother me and my smile! So anyway i was wondering if you could suggest any kind of solution to my gap? something that won’t cost a lot because i couldn’t afford it. The rest of my teeth are perfectly straight. I have asked my dentist about this a few times before and last month when i went he said nothing could be done on the NHS for me. He also said there could be the risk of a gap developing somewhere else in my teeth if i got braces :| please help me, thanks.,

What is the cost and process to have a bridge fitted?

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010
Q.
I had a front tooth bridge fitted with one metal wing(because i have a gap) and it came out a few weeks ago. I had this done under the nhs because i was in college. I am now at work so i guess i have to pay for it being fixed. Will they have to send the tooth away to get the metal taken off so they can stick it back in? My main worry is how much is this going to cost? The fixture of my bridge? what is the process they will go through and how long will this take because my appointment is on the 5th feb and i want it completed and the bridge stuck back in my mouth by the end of the month because i am going on holiday. thanks for you help,
