I have had major dental work done which needs to be redone, what should I do?

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011
Q.

I had veneers and crowns done and the work had to be redone after 1yr. The veneers were all cracked and decay started around the crown. Now it has been 5 month since the last work and the same problems are happening, lickage, decay and gum inflamation. I got a second opinion from a reputable dentist and the work that has to be redone is estimated at $15 000.00. Should the dentist pay for it. I had no problem prior to the cosmetic work. I just wanted my front teeth to be straight the big fillings to be removed. Now I have major problems including rooth infection due to too much drilling.
What should I do? I can’t stay like this. I am constantly in pain.
Thank you.

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011
Q.

My 3 year old son has not been to the dentist yet, however his 2 front teeth are loosing the enamel. He no longer drinks a bottle or sucks a pacifier. I have put a call into a dentist near me but I am curious as to why this is happening and if its serious. He does not complain of any pain.

Why does my son suffer from bad tooth decay if he has good dental hygiene?

Friday, December 3rd, 2010
Q.

Hi
My son had bad tooth decay as an infant and lost several teeth.I cleaned his teeth twice a day and he ate and drank an average amount of sweet stuff.He`s14 now and his teeth are rotting again. I’ve had endless arguments with my dentist as to the cause of such decay when he really does look after his teeth. My other 2 children`s teeth are perfect and always have been. They are the ones that I always have to remind to clean their teeth. My son has strange markings on his teeth which have always been there and were also on his milk teeth.
Please advise on any causes because I will not accept this is down to mere neglect. We are out of our minds with this.
