Can You Recommend A Top Dental Clinic To Fit Permanent Crowns?

Tuesday, November 5th, 2013
Q.

Hello Dr Shaffie. Can you recommend a top dental clinic to fit permanent crowns? I have temporary crowns in two adjacent molar implants fitted a year ago. How much should I expect to pay?

The current crown is a twin crown fitted into typical titanium abutments, which are fitted very well and securely.
I need to have top quality work done and cost is not the big issue. Reliable work and after care is most important.  My oral hygiene is very good and enjoy good health . I am 70 years of age and I would like this problem sorted out.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer me.

i have been wearing titanium braces for the last 18 months. flossing is difficult even with those that have been recommended. a few days ago i noticed that when flossing, a really bad smell came from one particular gum together with blood. since then i have been flossing more ,rinsing, using warm salted water but nothing stops the foul scent. i plan to visit the dentist though.,

Hi Dr Bohara , im currently learning about dental biomaterials. Which materials (including metal and ceramic) are used for dental implants? Also why do the implants come in different diameters and lengths? And why would implant failure occur? Many Thanks!!,

What materials are dental implants composed of?

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010
Q.
I am extremely hypersensitive and my quetion concerns the material of the implant, titanium, which you mention is iron/carbon — what are the proportions of the two materials, would i be able to request of a dentist a particular proportion, and do you know of any sideeffects for very sensitive patients having a titanium single tooth implant? My second question is my adjacent tooth has moved slightly, would I need to have some sort of realignment prior to having an implant? Thanks,
