How Much Would Composite Veneers For My Front Teeth Cost?

Friday, April 12th, 2013
Q.

I have very thin teeth, they are health. I have no fillings whatsoever. However as they are very thin it makes me feel paranoid. They are starting to look almost cracked along the bottom and I want something that will almost protect them while increasing my confidence in my smile. It’s important to me to look good and be able to smile in front of my friends and family but this is knocking me, I’m such a happy smiley person normally, but this is changing me. What I am looking to get done, would be composite veneers on my top front 6 teeth. How much would this cost roughly and would I be able to pay monthly or would it need paid all at once?
Many thanks.

My Veneers Are Too Large, Can They Be Made To Look More Natural?

Tuesday, March 19th, 2013
Q.

Hi I recently got composite veneers done on 10 of my teeth and am not thrilled with the results, they are not delicate and are way too large for my mouth. My smile appears rather ‘toothy’ and over impactful. I stressed on the importance of natural prior treatment. I am severley disappointed with the results to be hoenst with you, I have thought about taking action but have been advised that there would be no point since I agreed to the treatment etc. It’s just infuriating cosidering the dentist supposedly does it for 80% of Bollywood I figured I was in safe hands but maybe I was a little excited at the prospect of a new smile and didn’t think it through thoroughly enough. I’ve realised his heavy work is only best meant for screen.

Is there anything that can be done?

Thanks

My new veneers look too large and bulky, what should I do?

Friday, September 14th, 2012
Q.

I had 2 porcelain veneers fitted 18 yrs ago and i have just recently had them removed to get them replaced as i was unhappy with colour/appearance of them.
My 2 front teeth are in surprisingly good condition and i am actually happy with them as they are but my dentist tells me i need the new veneers fitted as my teeth are prepared for them and too thin to be without veneers.
I have seen the new veneers and i think they look too big, bulky and wide when they were placed on my teeth so am going back to the technician in the hope he can make them thinner and less bulky.
What is the thinnest a veneer can be (bearing in mind only a small amount of tooth surface was shaved off my teeth) and can veneers be pretty much the same size as my own teeth?
I look forward to your expert opinion.

My teeth are in terrible condition, what can I do?

Thursday, May 12th, 2011
Q.

I dont have any insurance, and my teeth are terrible. Its to the point where i cant even eat anymore. The pain is getting worse an I have decided that I just want them all pulled. Can I just be put to sleep an have all of my teeth pulled because I want them out?? I can do a payment plan or something. They are all falling apart piece by piece an my two front teeth have a whole in the middle of them an is getting bigger as we speak an the tooth next to it is starting to get a hole as well. I have not had regular dental appointments like I should have due to never having the money for it now they are all just breaking and it is very painfull. There are so many teeth of mine that are starting to lose the white an look almost see through, my enamel is fading I believe is what the commercials say. I just would like to have them all pulled an where dentures atleast I would be able to eat an not have pain anymore. Do you think I can find the right dentist that is in it for the work an willing to help someone that needs it? I will give anything to be put to sleep an have them all pulled.

My teeth are thinning and one has broken, what do you advise?

Thursday, February 17th, 2011
Q.

I have a condition called osteopenia and have noticed recently that my teeth are thining. As a result one of my front teeth has broken and I have been advised I require a veneer. I am aware there are a number of types of veneers on the market and am unsure which would be best for me. I am concerned by traditional veneer method of shaving tooth in preparation as my front teeth are so thin. Can you advise. I am based in Glasgow.

Are there more permanent solutions than veneers?

Thursday, November 18th, 2010
Q.
Hello. I have suffered with eating disorders and it has eroded the enamel on my teeth. I once had a wonderful big, full smile and now my front teeth are paper thin and have shortened. I hate smiling now and i would love to get my smile back. I have veneers on the back of my 4 top front teeth but they dont look good and i dont feel secure with them – i would like a more permenant solution and teeth more like my own were before. Any suggestions or advice?,
