Hello! Just a quick question about 2 tooth whitening systems. Now my dentist is about to whiten my teeth, and he uses the Philips Zoom! Nite White system. However, I am questioning whether this system is as good as the Enlighten Deep Bleaching system. I was wondering if you could give me the ins and outs of both, as although I do trust my dentist, I accept that he may be biased towards the system he uses. Any advice on these 2 systems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have just used a Megawhite teeth whitening gel tray at home, and I am not happy with the results. My top teeth appear to now be two tone very white on the top half of my teeth but darker on the bottom which is unsightly and upsetting, Is this a common problem, and is there anything that can be done to correct this, or improve my now two tone teeth? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hello, I have a number of questions to ask. Firstly, I have little gaps between my upper teeth. A gap between central incisors, and between the lateral incisor and the central incisor (both the sides).
Can this gap be removed without my teeth becoming loose? Will this treatment be permanent? Secondly, I want to lighten the color tone of my teeth? I have a yellowish tone on my teeth.
Finally, is bleaching a good idea to lighten the color tone of teeth? I asked my local dentist he told me to get them bleached, or does it loosen the teeth attachment?

Hello Dr Hughes. I am looking to whiten my teeth, how much would that cost? My teeth are quite yellow and they are embarrassing. I don’t ever smile because I don’t want anyone to see them. Dear Sir, I was diagnosed with CD at the age of 18 and prior to this, had fissure sealant treatment and had not had a single filling. My teeth were regularly checked and in good condition, strong and white.
Over the years, my teeth have become visibly more yellow, I have had fillings and the enamel has eroded and exposed the very unsightly dentine on many of my teeth. Some of them have uneven biting edges and are sharp. Until this year, my front teeth remained fairly unaffected, but now I’m getting marks on them, between them and they are getting thinned and more sensitive.
I’m getting married next year and am determined to have a better smile than I currently do. I bit the bullet and made an appointment to visit a local dentist earlier this year, who suggested using bonding to just even out the edges of my teeth, but mentioned this would be to the colour that my teeth are currently, which I’m very unhappy with.
My CD is now stable and I am mainly healthy, but hate the fact that my teeth continue to get worse – possible down to stomach acid? Hello Dr Gambroudes. Please can I ask you what damage 0.01% sodium perborate could do to my teeth? I am so confused with the legal aspects and safety and sensitivity.
I would really like to have my teeth whitened professionally, but I have very sensitive teeth already, so I couldn’t stand or bear a procedure that would cause me any excruciating pain in the process. I have been advised that sodium perborate causes no damage whatsoever, and more to my shock as I didn’t think it would be possible, no sensitivity at all during treatment or after? Hey Dr Hughes, I have a tooth that sticks out so whenever I smile you can see it creeping out. It’s so annoying. It’s on the top left hand side and slightly come out over my middle tooth. Can anything be done about this? Could it be filled down or something? Also I have a few of pointy teeth on the top and bottom can they also be filed down to be levelled? Would getting anything of this sort make my teeth sensitive? I once had my teeth whitened and my teeth really hurt so much, like a shocking pain for 2 weeks. Also how much would this cost me?

Hi Andrew. I am looking to have some sort of cosmetic dental implant or something on my lower left teeth. It is the first big tooth from the front. I would probably like gold or maybe a platinum tooth depending on the cost. So if you could quote me for these it would be appreciated? Also if it’s possible for a diamond to be added again depending on cost I am not sure which to have done. Maybe also I would have the lot cleaned so they look white again. Hello Sir. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a former soldier and whilst on operations in Afghanistan I lost a front tooth in a IED explosion whilst in a vehicle. The damage was minor and limited to a tooth and a broken leg. Now I’ve left I’ve started my own unmanned air vehicle business and would like to get my front teeth aligned and whitened to improve my first impressions when meeting potential clients.
I fully understand you wouldn’t be able to give me much of a solution without a consultation but roughly what are my options? I’m not sure what the MOD dentist put on it to get the shape back but it was some form of putty that’s rock solid. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you get discount if you need a full set of veneers? I hate my teeth I have gaps and they are discoloured. I have spent a fortune on teeth whitening, only to be in pain afterwards. I must have sensitive teeth. Some of my gums are receding hence I get a lot of pain after the teeth whitening, plus it only lasts a short time then it goes back to dull again.
