Hello doctor I just want to ask you if you could possibly make my teeth white from yellow and how many visits will it require? I noticed that if I brush them like 1 to 2 months 2 times a day they become white but not bright white. I smoke a lot and I just can’t cut it and I don’t really have time to brush them or getting bored to wait for the results. I work a lot so I don’t want to have to take lots of time off work in order to have this treatment done. I don’t even know how to go about getting the treatment, I’m new to the cosmetic side of things. I just feel that it is the best option for me as I won’t have to worry about the appearance of my smile for a while then. I also want to know how much will it cost for making them white from yellow. Thursday, February 24th, 2011I have heard that a combination of in-office lightening using hydrogen peroxide followed by a course of tray whitening carried out by the patient at home produces the best results. I’m assuming the in-office bleaching would use 35% Hydrogen peroxide. Could you advise if this is correct, how many applications and for what length of time you’d advise and what strength of chemical (assuming carmabide peroxide) you would advise for home use? How long would you advise the patient to continue the tray bleaching and how long after the office procedure should they commence? Any other info you could provide to ensure the safety and effectiveness of this procedure would be appreciated.
