Q. I am on my last aligner. I still feel that my teeth can be more straighter wih more alighners. could I ask for more aligners? Thanks
A. Thanks for your questions, this would depend onthe system you have used. If you have had Invisalign type treatment, you should be able to return to your dentist for refinement. This will involve taking further impressions and having more aligners made to acheive the results you are expecting. Please do not hesitate to contact me again if you need further assistance.
Kind regards

Q. Dr Solanki, Would a product like Invisalign be suitable for someone who has a crown on one of their two front top teeth and a double winged bridge on one of their lower left teeth? Are there any other options that could be used that have the same effect of straightening teeth that have gaps between them that could be used? Thank you for your time
A. Thanks for your questions, it is still possible to have Orthodontic treatment when you have crowns and bridges, Although I would recommend that any new restorations are delayed until after orthodontic treatment. There are many different methods for teeth straightening, each with their own advantages, such as invisble braces and braces which can work in as little as six weeks. I would recommend that you consult with a dentist or orthodontist to gain advise on which system would be best suited to your particular case.
Many thanks

Q. I have quite severe overcrowding in my lower teeth leaving the front 4 quite crooked, one in particular which is pushed back behind the others. My top teeth are also slightly crooked but nowhere near as bad as the bottom. It has left me miserable and embarrassed to talk or smile. I am 30 years old. What would be your recommended treatment, how much is it likely to cost, and are such treatments usually payable by a payment plan? Thank you.
A. Thanks for your questions, you should be pleased to find out that most practices which offer teeth straightening treatments have the facility to provide payment plans. Many even offer interest free credit, subject to status. There are many straightening systems available, all with there own advantages, from invisible braces, to braces which work in as little as six weeks. Although prices will vary between systems and practices, I can tell you that I currently offer treatments from £999. I hope this helps.

Q. My front teeth are big and prutruding, i wore a brace when I was younger, but probably did not give it enough time. I have always been paraniod of my teeth, and now coming up to my wedding i dread the photos. How much on average would it cost to correct?
A. Although the cost of teeth straightening will vary between practices, I can tell you that my practices are currently offering teeth straightening systems from £99. It may also help you to know that there are systems available now which can acheive results in as little as six weeks. I hope this helps.

Q. Hello , i am 22 years old, i am in london for about 3 years and i am asylum seeker i dont work and i cant work but can you tell me how much is fees to straighten my upper front teeth for inman aligner treatment? and and if its affordable can i pay treatment fees in installments? and if not then can u tell me which is fast and easy way to straighten my teeth? and can u suggest any doctor who do inman aligners treatment in india? waiting for your reply . Thank you.
A. Thanks for your questions, the cost for the Inman aligner will vary between practices, but I am currently offering this service from £999. Many cosmetic dental practices do offer payment plans, but to the best of my knowledge, you (or your partner) would need to be in employment. The Inman aligner is one of the most cost effective and quickest treatments available to straighten teeth. I would suggest, that you research providers in India on the internet. Kind Regards.

Q. I’m thinking about getting a brace as my two front teeth are inverted, i beleive this was caused by my wisdom teeth putting pressure on them (I have since had all my wisdom teeth removed) I would like to know if a brace could fix them and make them straight, how much it will cost, and how long the procedure will take and what type of braces involved. If you can get back to me with the above information I will be very grateful.
A. I’m sure a brace will help to straighten the teeth. There are lots of different types of braces available including fixed or removable. If you would like me to give you an idea of your optins please feel free to contact me on 01245 268 494.

Q. Hi there. I noticed on your website that it says the cost of treatment can be between £1000 and £2500 per treatment – does that mean ‘Per trip for treatment’ or the treatment as a whole (ie: by set of aligners).
A.
I thnk from the details that you provide, you are loking into different teeth straightening methods, so I can tell you that £1000 – £2500 would be the price range for the different systems. That would be a full set of aligners in the case of Invisalign for example. I hope that helps.
Kind Regards

Q. Hi Dr Solanki . i had treatment to straighten my teeth using invisalign and i have just finished my treatment of using Invisalign. i have been told just to wear it while im sleeping. the problem is that my teeth were normal before i started the treatment just not straight but now they are straight but i cant bite properly. only my wisdom teeth are touch when i bite the rest do not touch. this really hurts. i was wondering if this is common and is it suppose to happen? will it sort itself out or will i need to see a specialist? if it will sort itself out how long would this take? How can this problem be rectified? your help would be greatly appreciated
A. Hi
Thanks for your question, this is a problem which can occur if the Invisalign aligners do not extend as far back as the wisdom teeth, possible because they have erupted since the start of the treatment. As you will have worn your aligners for most of the day, your teeth don’t come into contact due to the plastic being in the way. If the aligners are not sitting over the wisdom teeth, then they will continue to erupt until they are touching each other (uppers & lowers). Hence when the aligners are finished the only teeth which bite together are the wisdom teeth. I would recommend that you visit your Invislaign dentist to discuss the problems and the ways to solve this at your earliest convenience in order to stop the pain and discomfort. these options in the short term will be to make a hard splint, take out the upper or lower wisdom teeth or grind down the wisdon teeth so that your other teeth meet. I hope that this helps and wish you well.
Kindest Regards

Q. Hey I have research about lingual braces and i am very interested in getting them… my question is do your teeth still move over time after the braces are taken off and do I have to wear a retainer after I take my braces off? Another question would be is that if I was to get lingual braces… is it possible to make payments by installments? Please get back to me
A. Thanks for your questions, as with most teeth straightening treatments, it would be recommended that you wear a retainer once your treatment is completed in order to prevent your teeth from moving back to their natural position. If you feel that you would not wear a removal retainer regularly, you may wish to consider a fixed retainer. Although payment options will vary between practices, many will have the facility to offer payment plans such as interest free credit to halp you spread the cost of your traetment.
Many Thanks

Q. Hi, i am 22 years old and had a traditional train track brace when i was 11, since then my one front tooth has slightlymoved forwards and my cainine teeth have moved upwards to there natural position and want to get them corrected, i dont have a high budget but have seen that the ‘6month smile’ is cheaper than the invisalign‘ how much do these roughly cost?, will the first consultation be free and do you do packages that include whitening?
A. Thanks for your enquiry, there are many straightening treatments available today, from systems which take as little as six weeks to acheive results to those which are virtually invisible. The costs for treatments which vary between systems and practices. However I can tell you that I am currently offering the Inman aligner, with whitening for £999 (for a limited period), but typically our costs for straightening start from around £1500. Many practices do offer a free initial consultation and will also have the facility to offer interest free credit to help spread the payments. I hope this helps.

Q. i am 29 and have just registered with a dentist after waiting for a few years,im interested in having a brace fitted as im starting to feel very wary of my teeth when i smile,Can it be done on nhs or will i have to go private? And at what cost?
A. Thanks for your questions, NHS Orthodontics treatment to adults is not usually available, however an enquiry to your local Primary Care Trust should be able to confirm this for you. There are many teeth straightening systems available privately, with some treatments taking as little as six weeks to acheive results and others which are virtually invisible. The costs for these treatments will vary between systems and practices, but I can tell you that straightening treatments at my practices start from £999. Many practices now have the facility to offer payment plans, such as interest free credit to help you spread the costs. I hope this helps.

Q. Hi, I had braces on my top teeth when I was 17. I’m now 30 and I’m very self conscious of my ‘goofy’ teeth. The braces did straighten my teeth but my top teeth have always stuck out over my bottom ones. When I close my back teeth I am able to slide my little finger between the gap. When I had braces they never addressed my crooked bottom teeth and so I never have elastic bands to help the alignment of my teeth/jaw. As an adult now I feel I was possibly mistreated. I’m incredibly self conscious of my smile and I find I’m beginning to hide my teeth and mouth when I speak and laugh. All of this infuriates my husband who insists its part of what makes me me but I hate it! Is there anything that could help?
A. Thanks for your questions, there are many teeth straightening systems available now, with some that can acheive results within six weeks. I would recommend that you attend an orthodontic or cosmetic dental practice for a consultation, at which they should be able to advise you of the systems which are avilable to suit your case, the approximate treatment time and the price. Many of these practices will offer a free inital consultation, so that you can obtain the necessary information without any financial commitment and often have interest free credit facility to help spread the cost. I hope this helps.

Q. hi i would like ask : the size of my front teeth are quite big and they stick out . i have had treatment in the past to straighten my teeth but im still not happy with the size on my front teeth. i would like to smile with confidence. is there any fink you can recommend? thank you so much
A. Hi, thanks for your question. Now that your teeth have been straightened, you may wish to consider having the front teeth veneered. When having veneers, the dentist would prepare the teeth (allowing them to make the veneers shorter than your natural teeth were) before fitting the thin layers of porcelain over the front surfaces of your teeth. Dental veneers can be used to improve the shape, colour, size and general appearance of teeth. I hope that this helps.

Q. As an early teen I had chipped the top, front 6 of my teeth rollerblading. They felt loose for a while and had always bothered me the way they healed. It bothers me how my front teeth are displayed slightly misaligned to my left and with an overbite as well. The Army Dentist insisted on putting veneers over them. That never did anything to fix the misalignment problem of the front two top teeth being aligned under my nose. It seems the injury I must have suffered as a kid made the teeth grow in this way after they healed. I am disappointed and finished with the idea of trying to salvage my smile at this point in my life. I am wondering if you may be able to let me know if there is a possibility that there is a Dentist out there that would extract my front, top 6 teeth or as many as needed to have an average looking smile that is aligned under my nose. Thanks very much
A. if the teeth are healthy you should look into clear positioner orthodontics such as clearstep or invisalign
