Can I Have Implants If I Grind My Teeth?

Hi there. I have bruxism (grinding/clenching teeth in my sleep) and retainers don’t help. Due to that I have craked my teeth and had to have them extracted. I was given dentures, which I have been wearing for over 2 years. Even though they are vaeloplast flexible ones, I have noticed they are damaging the other teeth they hold onto- I am contemplating implants but because of the bruxism I’m not sure if thats a good idea. The teeth that need replacing are all in the lower part of mouth- I have had 1 implant for the top tooth but the tooth is yet to be put on. I would appreciate your advice on this. Can I Get All My Teeth Replaced?

I want all my teeth replaced. I have shrinkage of the gums and feel the teeth I have will only get worse if they stay in. I have not been out the house in 2 years because of my teeth but I can’t afford the prices, any advice please? I don’t want to be house bound and would love to enjoy time with my grandkids. I’m only just 40 and sometimes I feel suicidal because of my teeth or feel like taking them out myself. I have a couple snapped off, some have big holes and some are split from top to bottom. I’m now starting to get pains in my bottom gum more than my top. My dentist is an NHS one and they don’t seem to care unless you are paying for treatment.

Which Replacement Teeth Option Would be Right for Me?

Hello, I am a 63 year old man and my teeth are in need of a holiday. I am afraid to go ahead and have them removed because many years ago I had a partial palate made which just made me vomit so I never wore it. What can be done these days to prevent this? Once my teeth are removed there is no going back and because of my profession I need to look at least half decent and being on stage and vomiting my teeth out over an audience may not go over very well! My Teeth Are Completely Rotten, What Are My Options?

Hi, I wondered if you could please advise me on something? If one’s teeth are completely rotten and dentures cannot be attached to any of them, what are the other possible solutions? If all the teeth are to be removed, will the person need to have at least one or two teeth implanted in order to wear dentures? The patient’s teeth are completely rotten and he is unable to eat. I am writing on behalf of him, we’re not sure where to turn. Considering the cost of dental implants, is there a cost-effective solution to this problem? We would just like a general idea so we can gather the correct funds, get in touch with the right dentists for example. We’re sort of new to the whole implant dentistry/cosmetic dentistry so we don’t really have a clue on how to go about getting the right information. This is why we came here and asked for your help. Thank you very much for your advice in advance.
