Q. I am on my last aligner. I still feel that my teeth can be more straighter wih more alighners. could I ask for more aligners? Thanks
A. Thanks for your questions, this would depend onthe system you have used. If you have had Invisalign type treatment, you should be able to return to your dentist for refinement. This will involve taking further impressions and having more aligners made to acheive the results you are expecting. Please do not hesitate to contact me again if you need further assistance.
Kind regards

Q. My front teeth are big and prutruding, i wore a brace when I was younger, but probably did not give it enough time. I have always been paraniod of my teeth, and now coming up to my wedding i dread the photos. How much on average would it cost to correct?
A. Although the cost of teeth straightening will vary between practices, I can tell you that my practices are currently offering teeth straightening systems from £99. It may also help you to know that there are systems available now which can acheive results in as little as six weeks. I hope this helps.
Many Thanks

Q. Hello , i am 22 years old, i am in london for about 3 years and i am asylum seeker i dont work and i cant work but can you tell me how much is fees to straighten my upper front teeth for inman aligner treatment? and and if its affordable can i pay treatment fees in installments? and if not then can u tell me which is fast and easy way to straighten my teeth? and can u suggest any doctor who do inman aligners treatment in india? waiting for your reply . Thank you.
A. Thanks for your questions, the cost for the Inman aligner will vary between practices, but I am currently offering this service from £999. Many cosmetic dental practices do offer payment plans, but to the best of my knowledge, you (or your partner) would need to be in employment. The Inman aligner is one of the most cost effective and quickest treatments available to straighten teeth. I would suggest, that you research providers in India on the internet. Kind Regards.

Q. I’m thinking about getting a brace as my two front teeth are inverted, i beleive this was caused by my wisdom teeth putting pressure on them (I have since had all my wisdom teeth removed) I would like to know if a brace could fix them and make them straight, how much it will cost, and how long the procedure will take and what type of braces involved. If you can get back to me with the above information I will be very grateful.
A. I’m sure a brace will help to straighten the teeth. There are lots of different types of braces available including fixed or removable. If you would like me to give you an idea of your optins please feel free to contact me on 01245 268 494.

Q. Hi there. I noticed on your website that it says the cost of treatment can be between £1000 and £2500 per treatment – does that mean ‘Per trip for treatment’ or the treatment as a whole (ie: by set of aligners).
A.
I thnk from the details that you provide, you are loking into different teeth straightening methods, so I can tell you that £1000 – £2500 would be the price range for the different systems. That would be a full set of aligners in the case of Invisalign for example. I hope that helps.

Q. heya i am only young being 19 and hate my teeth and smile. i was offered braces when i was younger however i never wanted them i regret this decission now and would like advice on how i can achieve that celebrity smile? i really need your help.
A. Thanks for your questions. There are many teeth straightening products available, with some acheiving results in as little as six weeks and other which are virtually invisible. I would suggest that your first step should be to arrange a consultation appointment, either with an Orthodontist or a cosmetic dental practice which offer teeth straightening. There are many practices who will offer free initial consultations, to allow you to discover your options and the associated prices without any financial commitment. Many of these practices will also have the facility to ofer payment plans such as, interest free credit to help you spread the cost of the treatment. I hope that this will be of assistance bu turge you to contact you again should you require further information.
Many Thanks

Q. hi i would like ask : the size of my front teeth are quite big and they stick out . i have had treatment in the past to straighten my teeth but im still not happy with the size on my front teeth. i would like to smile with confidence. is there any fink you can recommend? thank you so much
A. Hi, thanks for your question. Now that your teeth have been straightened, you may wish to consider having the front teeth veneered. When having veneers, the dentist would prepare the teeth (allowing them to make the veneers shorter than your natural teeth were) before fitting the thin layers of porcelain over the front surfaces of your teeth. Dental veneers can be used to improve the shape, colour, size and general appearance of teeth. I hope that this helps.

Q. Dear Mr Tennet, I used to be a patient of yours at cadbury’s dental practice and thought it may be better to ask you than any of the other doctors. I have two teeth at the front which are a little longer in vertical height than the others… My aim is for them all to be the same vertical length, so ideally I would like them straightened across the board. How much would it cost just for that?
A. to reshape the teeth without fillings or veneers should be less than $100 Call amy for the free intial consultation 01216430610 Rob

Q. hello Doc, I am 34 years old and I have a primary tooth between my front tooth and the #2. it protrudes infront the #2, which is still there but twisted behind it. the primary tooth is also shaking slightly. I’ve been to the dentist and i was told i might have to do an extraction. the dentist also gave me this explanation for my top row i hope you can understand. 432112234 the 1s are the two front teeth and they count in both directions as you can see, i have two #2s on the right one of them being the primary tooth… my smile is not one im very proud of so is there any advice you can give me in terms of getting it straightened out? thanks a mil!
A. Its difficult to give you exact ideas without seeing you but one option might be removing the extra tooth and then having them straightened with something like invisalign.

Q. Dear Dr Caplan I am in my 50’s and would like to have my lower teeth straightened. I do have some gum recession. Would the recession prohibit me receiving this treatment and would the treatment be more likely to cause my teeth to loosen?
A. Your bone support would
need to be assesed using Xrays. If you have enough support to your roots orthodontics should be fine

Q. I was referred to an orthodontist when i was 14 to have braces fitted in. I had the braces fitted in but after a couple of days i had them removed as i did not feel comfortable wearing them. I am now 19 and in full-time education at university. Do you think i will still be able to get braces free under the NHS scheme?
A. Over 19 years old you no longer automatically qualify for exemtption from NHS charges, you need to fill in an AG1 form to claim on grounds of low income. But you need to find out if you still qualify for NHS orthodontics in addition to a question about charges. See an Orthodontist with an NHS contact to have your IOTN score done.
Hope this helps

Q. Hi Dr, I’m a 26 year old female. I have buck tooth, I used to suck my thumb until a very late age. I wouldn’t say they are that bad but I would like to straighten my teeth. Obviously without looking you wouldn’t be able to tell me how long it will take. Maybe I should pop in for a consultation. I don’t have buckets loads of cash so am looking for the right brace with the best results. I’m saving my pennines now… well I need to buy my bed first then I’ll save after that! Do you have a flexi plan? Maybe not, just asking as some Dentistries do. I have Overjet, Open bite and a Misplaced midline. Regards
A. You need to book in for a consultation with an orthodontist. Every clinic offers different payments plans.
If you would like a recommendation i can recommend my collegue Dr Darsh Patel. For enquires about cost, availability and payment plans, please contact hte clinic directly at info@umbrellasmiles.com

Q. My question is about my lower teeth, 4 to 5 of them are overcrowded but also some are kind of chipped but do not have a hole in them. Is there a way to get them to line up in every way?
A. You could have the teeth straightened and then have the chipped teeth re built. You need to have a consultation to see what options are available.
