I Don’t Want To Have More Teeth Taken Out And Braces Treatment. Is There Another Way To Fix My Buck Teeth?

Tuesday, October 29th, 2013
Q.

Hello Dr Gambroudes. I used to have what I would call vampire teeth. After getting braces, my “vampire” smile turned into buck teeth. I had two upper teeth removed to make more room and continued to wear braces for two years but the buck teeth never disappeared. And they are really bad buck teeth and it’s started to affect my speech. Is there another option to fix buck teeth without having to go back to braces? The orthodontist I went to when I had my braces said I would have to get more upper teeth removed if I wanted to continue with braces and I really don’t want that.

I had 20 Crown Replacements And Now My Feel Teeth Are Loose, What Should I Do?

Wednesday, April 24th, 2013
Q.

I had cosmetic crown replacements on 20 teeth. I had a great deal of trouble getting them right. As in, I had to have many adjustments carried out by my dentist. My bottom front teeth kept hitting each other resulting in constant movement. Fortunately, that has been resolved for the most part, but now my bottom canine is loose. This has just occurred over the last week. Do you think this is because of the constant movements? The bottom teeth have been in place since June. What can be done for this? Should I go to a specialist rather than my actual dentist who carried out the crown replacements? Thank you for any help you can  provide.

My Dentist Says My Twisted Root Needs To Be Seen By A Specialist, Should I Trust Him?

Wednesday, March 13th, 2013
Q.

I have recently had two root canals started and am going back for the crowns within the next few weeks. I have another slightly problematic tooth that my dentist has told me the root is twisted and that I need to see a specialist for the root canal treatment or even potential extraction. This would be fine however I am intending to keep my teeth. I wanted you to tell explain to me, does a twisted root need to be worked on by a specialist or is the dentist trying to get more money out of me..? I am a little concerned that they are so would really appreciate a response. Thanks for your time and hope you can get back to me for my own peace of mind…

Regards.
