I went for a consultation for reshaping overlapped teeth. We discussed the braces option and C-Fast, but I don’t want to go through that. The cons were discussed. I would have to remove a lot of enamel and the dentist might hit a nerve that they can’t take responsibility for. If there were any damages, I would be charged to repair them. I think that If the dentist knows what he or she is doing, it shouldn’t be a problem, otherwise why advertise the reshaping of severe overlaps when there is so much risk involved. What do you think? Reshaping and crowns seem the best and cheapest option.

How Much Risk is Involved in Reshaping Overlapped Teeth?
Wednesday, April 29th, 2015I’m Unhappy With My New Implants,Should My Dentist Alter Them Because I Am Not Happy With Them?
Monday, January 7th, 2013Hi, I have had an implant in my UL 1 and a connecting bridge to my UR1. I had the fitting on December 20th 2012 for the first time and am not happy with the overall appearance of them. the front surface area is too rounded for my liking and I would like them flattened of.. also the ‘v’ between the 2 teeth is very high giving the appearance of the 2 front teeth looking very block like! I have asked my cosmetic dentist for these changes to be made as I am not happy and have payed 9,000 pound for the smile I wanted. he has refused me on the basis that he thinks they look fine. I am in belief that if I am not happy and the work can be done then it should be?
How do I go about getting my chipped tooth fixed?
Wednesday, December 5th, 2012Hi there
i have nice teeth all round but i have a problem with my two front teeth, as i teen i may have chipped them and i have noticed that the “chip” is getting bigger. The chip is in the middle of my two front teeth.
i was wondering if it is possible to file them to make them appear rounded? My two front teeth are large anyway so i do feel that this is possible? Would they both have to be altered? I don’t know how to go about getting this done. please get back to me asap….
Thanks
Is composite bonding a good alternative to brace treatment?
Tuesday, June 26th, 2012Hello, I have just come back from a consultation about having a brace and the orthodontist advised me that he didn’t think this would be the best option as I had 2 teeth removed as a teenager and the only way to create more space would be to remove more. Instead he has recommended that my teeth are re-shaped and that he will use composite (something like that but not porcelain) to make them appear aligned. I had always thought that a brace would be the best option, but does this sound like a good solution? Thanks
