Hi there I know there are a few similar questions and chances are I need to have someone actually look at my mouth but I am 28yrs old and on a low income. In the past I have had poor dental hygiene, I lived in Sydney and started treatment so I have all my records and x-rays. but I couldnt afford to keep up payments. My bottom back teeth are terrible I have only one full molar and its started to crumble and cause me pain, I also have 4 teeth on the other side completely rotted down to gum, I am terrified of the dentist and in a lot of pain. I was wondering what my options are and I am aware I cant get an exact quote without a dentist examining me but even a rough idea as I am saving to move away again next year and really need it fixed so if I can prepare myself for the cost I can deal with the fear next, cost is also why I am scared of going. Many Thanks

Can I save the tooth after having 2 infections from it?
Thursday, April 8th, 2010Q.
Hi I am female, healthy, aged 47 and 7 months I fell whilst walking on Mt Snowdon in Wales. On falling my face hit a rock and took the impact of the fall chipping one of my front teeth, knocking the other one and the tooth next to it backwards and sidewards so they are now out of aligment. I have had both teeth that were pushed out of place root canal filled, however, my front tooth has an infection which I can feel just below my nose. 4 wks ago I had an apicectomy carried out at my local hospital. No fracture to the root was discovered during the procedure and the infection was removed. However, the infection returned after several days and is still persisting. I revisit the hospital next week, however, ahead of this I would like to know next steps and if there is still anything that can be done to save the tooth. I look forward to hearing from you.,

I was quoted $4,876.00 for treatment, is this correct?
Friday, April 2nd, 2010Q.
I was just quoted $4,876.00 for a 3 piece bridge replacement, that includes: removal of old silver fillings and decay, buildup, temporary bridge & porc. three pc bridge. I think this is excessive. Can you please let me know if this is in range for this proceedure. Thank you.,

IMy gum still bleeds after a molar extraction one year ago, please help!
Friday, April 2nd, 2010Q.
Hello Dr, a year ago I under went a molar extraction, prior to and after the procedure, I still bleed slightly in the morning just before I wake up. I wake up at night to rinse my mouth frequently. My dentist said I had no gum disease and performed an x-ray after the procedure. I have no swellings or pain just a extraction that seems to be leaking blood, is this normal?,
