I don’t think my Six Month Smile brace treatment is working. What would you suggest?

Monday, September 27th, 2010
Q.
Dear Rob. I had six month smile brace fitted 18 months ago for mild crowding on the front six. The brace has been institu for 18mths and has left gaps in the front that are refusing to close, also one slightly overlapping tooth wouldn’t move. Another problem is i feel it’s pushing my front teeth out as it’s now longer then the others. I keep saying this to my cosmetic Dentist and she says it shouldn’t be much longer, however I honestly think it could possibly take another 18mths. What would you suggest, can the top front tooth be pushed up with another brace?,

Would invisalign be a good choice for me?

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010
Q.
hey man i have a question for you my front left tooth is overlaping my right tooth in a upper diagonal position it covers up to 20% of my right tooth its also on top like half of it is.( only the very last edge of it is about a half centimeter on top from my right tooth also the left tooth clicks only the edge thats on top i dont know why. My right tooth is nearly perfect it could be easily pushed more to the right about a 6-10%. I wanna know if invisalign would be my best choice or simply a working choice,

What can be done about overlapping teeth?

My 23 year old daughter is slightly worried about her slightly overlapping front teeth. Should she see an Orhodentist ( as is being suggested ) or can teeth be removed to allow a little more space for the future ? Your comments would be appreciated.

I recently had braces fitted and now my teeth seem to be overlapping. Why is it doing this?

I just had braces put on a few days ago, and previously, my front teeth were fine, but now, they have begun to over lap. Help! Is this natural and why is it doing this? It looks and feels lopsided.,

Would braces help my front teeth or would veneers?

Thursday, June 17th, 2010
Q.
Hello. I am 33 and I have had problems with my teeth for years. I have a “peg tooth” at the front, my front 2 teeth overlap, and I have a tooth missing (but no gap) at the front. My teeth generally sit to the left of my mouth and look awful. I had braces when I was younger (not the permanent ones) which did not help and eventually a veneer was put over my peg tooth. This hasn’t really helped the overall look of my teeth though. I was wondering if a brace would be the best option or more veneers to sort out the front ones. Thank you so much.,

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010
Q.
Hi, im 22 years old. I was wondering if you could give me some advice about my teeth, my two front teeth are bigger than the rest and one overlaps the other. They are also bumpy across the bottom of the tooth.I hate it so much that i dont go out very much and i never have my photo taken as i feel people are staring at my teeth. Would i need cosmetic dentistry or braces or what would you suggest? I live in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Thanks.,

Am I eligible for an inman aligner?

Friday, March 19th, 2010
Q.
Hi. When I was younger I had braces put in because my teeth were all overcrowded and they’d all overlapped. After wearing the braces they were all great. I got a bonded retainer on my lower teeth, but I didn’t wear the removable part of my retainer and the upper two front incisors overlap again, and the two teeth on either side stick out at the side. Besides these four teeth, all my teeth are in line and I was wondering if I would be eligible for an inman aligner to correct them?,

Can I get overlapping front teeth fixed without removing teeth?

Monday, February 15th, 2010
Q.
Hi – my 2 upper fron teeth cross over and I would be interested in getting them straightened. I have never had any teeth removed and still have my wisdom teeth. I am 46. Can this be done without having any teeth removed? And would it be a lifelong correction? My lower teeth are also crooked but I am not so concerned about this. I am a regular visitor to the Dentist and Hygienist & otherwise have good teeth and gums. Thank You for your advice. c,
