I go to a local dentist where I have been going for a long time and my dentist no longer treats adults, just children’s braces. i therefore changed to a dentist at that practice, but did not know him. I have had 3 new crowns at the front and a veneer (privately) plus teeth whitening. I was told that the two teeth (old NHS crowns) either side of the front two had metal posts and they may show through the porcelain, but it shouldn’t be a problem. This treatment was carried out about march time at a cost of £1200 plus teeth whitening. The crown were a bit too white for my own colour and I was asked to repeat the teeth whitening for another week. They still do not match, the two crowns on the metal posts are a grey colour and I do not feel entirely happy with them. Where do I stand regarding this or having a second opinion. The dentist who carried out the work is very nice, so I feel at a loss as to what to do next.
