Hello. Is it viable to use one’s own wisdom teeth (previously extracted) to create crowns for the back molars? Would the tooth remain strong? Stronger than the traditional metal casing cap added porcelain? Could the wisdom tooth be drilled out and the cap mould poured into the wisdom tooth? Would it survive longer than the average 10-15 years? Rather the 50 plus years I expect to need it? The fit would be great since I recently found three wisdom teeth and I may need crowns on the back upper and lower molars they need to be a perfect bite match. Very curious to find out if this has been tried and what the success rates are if so. Thank you.

Is It Viable To Use A Previously Extracted Tooth As A Crown For My Back Molars. Has This Ever Been Done Before.
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014Am I In Trouble After My Root Canal Procedure?
Friday, April 12th, 2013I have just had a root-canal treatment done on my lower right molar. My dentist has made my molar tooth smooth but the upper and lower teeth do not touch each other now hence creating a little pressure on my premolar tooth (as they now easily touch each other). What should I do? And is capping necessary after root-canal? If I don’t will my filling break away?I am a non-vegetarian and I have a tooth missing near my treated tooth. This is causing me quite a bit of stress and confusion actually so I would appreciate any advice that you feel may be helpful.

What can I do to replace a tooth that may need to be extracted?
Friday, November 19th, 2010Half of my back molar fell out so I’ve had two fillings which have fell out. Last time I visited my dentist gave me a replacement filling and some antibiotics for an abscess on the same tooth. The abscess still hasn’t gone so I think I’l have to get it taken out now which I’m very worried about, I don’t want to forever have a gap in my mouth and I also read that having a gap from a missing tooth will cause your other teeth to move and may fall out aswell. I’m 16 and really worried about it. Is there anything I can have done to replace the tooth?,
