What emergency measures can be taken to ensure that I can keep my front tooth?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010
Q.
Dear Dr Solanki Over the years, I have had two crowns on my upper left incisor. There isn’t very much of the original tooth left. The tooth is now weak the crown is loose. My dentist thinks the root may have softened over time. The post in the crown is not broken. My concern is about the whole thing coming apart before I can start my treatment in 1 to 2 weeks. What emergency measures can be taken to ensure that I can keep my front tooth? Many thanks.,

I have been wearing a retainer, but my teeth feel loose. It’s been three months since I told my dentist and it’s not getting better. Any advice?

Monday, August 16th, 2010
Q.
Hi There… I have been back and forth to a dentist for the past 4 years now having my teeth straightened. I now have to wear a retainer at night. However, i have noticed that my teeth are loose and wobbly. My dentist says that this will settle down, but it has been 3 months now and there is no sign that this is getting any better… Is this normal / common. How long will it take to get better and if it doesn’t are there any other corrective treatments that i can have…? Thanks,

Teeth feel like they will move from their new position after Inman Aligner treatment, what can I do?

Friday, August 13th, 2010
Q.
Hello I recently had my inman alighner removed and I am happy with the results. My main concern however is that my teeth are going to move from their new position and start to go back. I have the little wire attached now at the back of my teeth but if I put pressure on them with my finger I can feel slight movement and wondered if this was normal and if they will strenghthen back up and stay in their new position. Also my concern extend to my lower teeth, I am worried that they may begin to move if they rub on the wire/bonding at the back of my upper teeth?,

How long would it take for the root canal treatment to be completed?

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr. Moore, I’d like to know how long a root canal treatment would properly take, considering my tooth has 3 root canals. And if the problematic tooth is a little loose, should I still undergo the root canal treatment? Thank you for your time. sincerely.

I don’t want to have my teeth replaced with false ones, what are my options?

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010
Q.
im a 42 year old female with very poor teeth. they r getting very loose all over i can feel thm shaky and i cant remember ever in my life being confident to show them off. im ashamed of thm and it gets me down constantly. i consider myself to be attractive apart from the teeth which i cover up with my hands when having a laugh etc. my boss at work tells me tht i dont have to have thm all removed and replace with falsies. this is wot i think ismy only option now. if i ever want to gain confidence in my apperance. i have totell u tht at the back of my mouth is like a derlict building with my teeth thru the years decaying etc. i had a crown fitted almost 16 years ago when pregnant with my daughter. it was at front next to my eye tooth. i had it 13 years until it fell out and i had tht replaced again but swallowed it by mistake and just never went bk to my own dentist again. the reason for this was because she was never very sympathetic with me and i felt i couldnt approach her or ask her advice. and if i was to be total honest with u i hated going to the dentist. lol. im regreting now thti didnt look after them and lay off the fizzy juice and sweets. its my dream to have a nice smile. is tht possible? id appreciate ur honesty even if its not wot i wanted to hear. lol. please can u advise me on which route i shld take. thank u x,
