Hello, I knocked my front tooth out when I was younger and wore a bridge (one sided) for years. Last year (aged 28) I decided to have an implant fitted instead. It was fitted and my dentist had to rebuild the gum above. Anyways it all went ok and then last Sept he fitted my new porcelain crown. Over the last 8 months my the gum surround my teeth EITHER SIDE OF the implant has become very red and has started to receed. This is gum above 2 good teeth and not above the implant. The gum above the implant has receeded a little too but I think that is cause they had to rebuild it so much in the first place. My concern is as to why the gum is receeding above my good teeth. My dentist cannot figure it out but says it has nothing to do with my implant yet before I had this fitted there was nothing wrong. What do you think? Do you think it could be to do with the crown itself? Please help as Im worried I might start losing some teeth! Thanks,

Hi. I have fron teeth with two upper ones broken at gum level. No others except some broken gum level side ones. I had a dental bridge about a year ago but it fell off and the teeth under it are now at gum level and black. I’m diabetic and horrified of visiting a dentist because i don’t know what is going to happen. Kindly let me know of the procedure that will be followed and if I will be able to have clip ons or will all my teeth have to be pulled out? Many thanks for your help.,
