Is there a possibility of strengthening the gums and bone so I can have dental implants?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
Hi I am 23 years old and my lower gums have receeded badly. I have 1 tooth already removed and another due to be removed soon. My dentist has offered me a denture and says in ten years I may loose all the bottom teeth/they will become very loose. The bone is also affected and I am wondering if you could help me with any suggestions or treatment you can perform to have dental implants eg is there a possibility of strengthening the gums and bone so I can have dental implants?,

I have been in Central America and my tooth has broken. It is so bad that I can now see the root. What will become of the gum once the tooth is removed?

Monday, August 16th, 2010
Q.
About 1 year ago a very old filling in a molar fell out. I was in central america at the time and was reluctant to see a dentist. I am still in central america and since then the tooth has broken and the gums on the outer portion surrouding this tooth have worn away. It has gotten so bad that I can now see the root. I know that I must have the tooth removed but would like some advice as to what will become of the gums surrounding this tooth? Thank you for your attention to this matter.,

I’m embarrassed about my smile, is a gum graft a good option?

Monday, August 2nd, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr. Moore, I am 20 years old and my top, front four teeth are implants. I had two separate bone grafting surgeries several years ago and now I am experiencing gum loss. I am embarrassed about my smile and I think my roots are starting to show. Would a gum graft be a good option for me?,

Can my gum disease be treated?

Monday, January 18th, 2010
Q.
I have just been told that I have gum disease. I am 21 and admittedlly I abused my teeth during my teenage years. I have had all the plaque removed but at the back of my bottom front teeth, on the gum is what could be described as a hole or a ditch. is there anyway to cure this and will this hole/dithc be recovered ? thanks,

Need to fix my bite and get gum graft, please suggest.

Monday, December 7th, 2009
Q.
I am nearly coming to the end of invisalign treatment and have found that my top front teeth have gone forward and caused me to have a bit of an overbite. Also my lower left canine gum has receded, which must be due to brushing too hard as I don’t have gum disease. Will invisalign refinements be able to push my front teeth back a bit? or is there any other treatment that can fix my bite? Where can I go to get a gum graft, as it is causing me a lot of anguish.
