What should I do if I have black broken teeth to gum level and suffer from diabetes?

Thursday, November 25th, 2010
Q.

Hi. I have front teeth with two front ones broken at gum level. I have no side teeth apart from two or three that are at gum level, black and broken. I had a dental bridge on one of the sides but it fell off a year ago and the teeth under that are now black and at gum level. I have diabetes and am horrified of the procedure necessary to fix my problem. Kindly let me know what could be the procedure to all.

Hi. I have fron teeth with two upper ones broken at gum level. No others except some broken gum level side ones. I had a dental bridge about a year ago but it fell off and the teeth under it are now at gum level and black. I’m diabetic and horrified of visiting a dentist because i don’t know what is going to happen. Kindly let me know of the procedure that will be followed and if I will be able to have clip ons or will all my teeth have to be pulled out? Many thanks for your help.,

I cannot afford to pay for my grandaughter’s dental treatment, what can we do?

Monday, July 5th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I am 83. I cannot help my grandaughter financially. is there help under the NHS for her please. Her teeth have worn down to gum level. Fear, has stopped her all these years from trying to get help to stop the problem. The roots are strong but the surface broke away years ago on her teeth. she has no confidence,She walks around with her hand across her mouth. She cannot eat properly, cannot get a job. She has lost her children through domestic problems and is homeless. She needs to make a fresh start, but her teeth must come first to give her self pride, and confidence, also she need to give nice white smiles once again. She would get work then. Is there help out there please. I am worried sick. Thanks you for giving us your time (I heard that dental training hospitals do implants for free with trainee dentists, Is this true please). she is 36 years old and looks much older,,
