Can Dentures be Produced using iTero?

Tuesday, April 19th, 2016
Q.

Can full dentures be produced using the iTero for someone who already has a full set of dentures? All I see on various websites is the Wand being used on patients who have their own natural teeth. I am desperate for new dentures but can’t face having the traditional method of impressions as last time I had them done I almost choked and it has put me off completely. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.

How Much Will It Cost To Have A Full Set Of Dentures?

Wednesday, February 6th, 2013
Q.

Hello doctor Bohara, I;m 39 years old and I had front dentures put in at a young age but now i would like to get a full set for the rest of my teeth because the rest of my teeth are in poor condition. I would need to be put to sleep for taking my teeth out because I’m a very nervous patient. How expensive would it be to have this done. Also, will I have to go any amount of time without dentures in because I would find that difficult and be too ashamed to do anything without any teeth. This is my last hope, I hope you can help me make my dream to smile again a reality, and bring my confidence back, Thanks,

What would be the most cost effective way to replace the bottom row of teeth?

Monday, September 10th, 2012
Q.

Hi,
I have five front teeth left on my bottom set with a gap in the middle were two teeth have been removed.
At the moment there is a bottom denture which makes up the rest of the missing teeth. this denture is lose due to gum shrinkage. The five remaining teeth are in poor condition and are very small. My teeth on the top set are complete but are all either crowns or bridges these are in good condition. the bottom five remaining teeth are small and don’t match the top set. what would be the best and most cost effective way to replace the bottom set so that it would match up with the upper teeth. Please give a rough estimate of costs involved or list possible treatments from high to low in cost

I had a negative experience with the dentist many years ago and my teeth are now severly decayed, what are my options?

Monday, August 20th, 2012
Q.

Hi Dr Moore, I had a negative experience with my dentist in the 70’s involving sedation and as a result have only been to the dentists once since then (im 41 now) I have several decayed teeth and am in constant pain and can only eat soft food, Im at the stage now where i’d like all my teeth extracted and dentures fitted, I’ve never been able to afford it before but now after losing my job I have a NHS tax credit exemption certificate for the first time in my life so I really need to sort this before it finally pushes me over the edge. I’d like to know if I’d be able to get this done on the NHS or will they try to talk me out of it with partial dentures? Also will they extract all the teeth in one hit as theres no way I could leave the house with no teeth. How much will this cost as I realise i’d have to pay something towards this! Thanks for your time!
