If I get implants can I get denture without roof palate?

Q. I need full extractions, top and bottom. I have read that if I have implants I can get a top denture without the roof palate. Is this possible, if so, could you give me rough estimate on price.,

It is possible A 3D CT scan, 2 implants lower jaw , 2 implants upper jaw, 4 stud/ ball type abutments to connect implants to denture with reciprocal in denture. upper & lower dentures expect costs £5000- £10,000. depending on implant system used , and good to high quality specs. What would be the cost to have dentures fitted?

Q. I am a 43 year old woman. 2 years ago I was told that my teeth would be dropping out as my jaw bone has receeded, I have come to the stage were I have lost a number of teeth due to breakage, the rest of my upper teeth are very loose and feel it is time to look at cosmetic dentures for the top as I cannot afford a bone implant. can you help me with the costing of extraction and cosmetic dentures for the top set of my teeth. A. Unfortunately it is difficult to determine the price of extractions and upper dentures as individual practices vary in costs. It would also depend on the number of teeth for extraction and the type of denture that would best suit yourself. Many practices do offer free consultations. What treatment other than braces can fix mis=aligned teeth?

Q. My two front teeth are badly mis-aligned or bucked, for the want of a better word. I visit the dentist regularly and always have a clean bill of health. I would like to have a better smile to improve my self- esteem. What best course of action could I take without using a brace.,

A. It may be possible to veneer the two teeth to bring them into line, although there would be limitation to how far this would allow your teeth to move. I appreciate you may not wish to wear traditional braces for a couple of years, but there are many other straightening options now available. For example there is the Inman aligner which can acheive results in as little as six weeks, and Invislaign which is a series of clear aligners which are virtually invisble. I would recommend that you attend a cosmetic dental practice for a free initial consultation, as they would be abe to discuss all these options with you, including the veneers. kindest Regards. A. Thanks for your questions, the preperation involved with having veneers would enable the teeth to be brought into line to a certain degree. However there is a limit to how much the teeth can be prepared. Therefore it may be possible that straightening would be needed prior to the veneers. My previous dental treatment was unpleasant, do you provide free consultation?

Q. Dear Dr Solanski,I had treatment in India 2 implants on top left which is crowned with a bridge, and one single implant on lower right which is yet to be completed if i go back!! I thought i did enouggh homework initially but now im not to convinced. My bridge has become so loose that i get regular infection and also they put a abone graft in and placed implant under my sinus which i think causes a little pain sometimes….as this procedure is so costly and i cannot possibly afford around 20,000 for treatment, im thinking maybe i should do one at a time and this bridge corrected? how much do you charge for each implant? And if i was to come and visit you do i need to pay a consultation fee? look forward to hearing from you soon

A. The stability of your teeth and jawbone varys from person to person. It is best that the dentist responsible for the implants gets to review the stability from time to time. Q. I have seriously bad teeth i need help quickly i have not been to a dentist for 5 years because of cost i need a surgery where i can pay weekly or monthly

I would recommend that you arrange a consultation appointment with a local dentist, many of whom can offer free initial visits. At this appointment, the dentist would be able to advise you of the treatment which you require, as well as the associated prices. Many practices do now have the facilities to offer monthly payment schemes, including interest free credit. However, if this is not available to you, at least you will be able to plan the appointments you need according to your finances, and just spread the treatment over a longer period.
