Can I fix the gap in the back of my teeth consider plaque?

Monday, December 7th, 2009
Q.
Hello, If your reading this, THANK YOU for taking the time to answer my question. Ever since my last dental visit I noticed this gap in the back of my four bottom front teeth. Before it started to bother me I noticed a white lining around the bottom of my teeth (just on the bottom four in the front) It wasn’t until the other day that it started to bother me really bad. My tongue will NOT stop playing with the gap in the back of my two front teeth. I hope I didn’t make it worse by trying to figure out what it was. I can stick my fingernail between the gap and under my teeth where the white lining was on my teeth. I think I picked the white stuff off. My guess, it would be plaque.(I thought that stuff was hard to get off) How much would I be looking at to fix the gap in the back of my teeth? AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME YOU WOULD BE HELPING ME SO MUCH WITH A REPLY.

I feel I am stuck with unprogressive dental treatment.

Q.
Hi. I have recently broken some enamel from the back of one of my front lower teeth. I have now visited mt dentist 5 times and am back to square one. First he did a filling on the back, and the day after I had to go back as there was a very sharp edge. 1 week later im back again as it had come off. I saw a different dentist at the practice as my own was busy, who replaced the filling . 2 days later, it came away yet again. I then go back for the 4th time and the dentist decided to put a sealant on the tooth to stop the sensitivity as obviously a filling it was not working. A couple of days later, this too came off. Back I go for the 5th time. Now, the dentist did explain that these were awkward to do at the very begining, but im now back to the start postion again, with the dentist saying there is nothing more he can do, so just smoothed it down as best he could. But it still drives me crazy as my tongue keeps catching it and there is some slight sensitivity. And of course ive wasted £65. The dentists are all English, and it is an NHS dentist. And they are all extremely nice people too !!! Should I try a private dentist ? Or am i stuck with it forever ? help !

Will my daughter have the same milk teeth problem that I had?

Friday, December 4th, 2009
Q.
My daughter is going six yrs old this Dec. 24, 2009 but one permanent teeth is erupting about 2mm behind the lower incisor. My dentist says that the milk tooth infront of the permanent tooth will just fall-off but 3months passed and still the milk teeth is there. My 34yr old wife has a lower teeth formation which is on top of the other incisors and hopefully my daughter will not follow. Please tell me if I need to let her milk tooth be removed so that the permanent one will have its place. On the other hand, will this removal cause side-effects and what are those? I need your advice.

I have question regarding a yellow stuff back of my mouth.

Friday, December 4th, 2009
Q.
You know how people get black heads and they pop them, and this yellow stuff comes out? Well, I had something similar, but I don’t think it was a black head, and it was in the back of my mouth. It felt like it scratched my throat. I looked in the mirror and saw a yellow spot on one side of my mouth in the back. I took my finger and tried to see if it was food, but couldn’t move it. I pushed up from under it, and whatever it was came out. Kind of like popping a blackhead. I can see a hole back there where it was. I don’t know if I should be concerned about it or not. Any ideas what it could be?

Please suggest on getting rid of stains on my front teeth.

Monday, November 30th, 2009
Q.
Hi, all of a sudden some brownish-grey stripes have appeared on my upper front teeth. I don’t understand why this may have happened as I have not changed my diet, I don’t smoke and if anything, I am taking better care of my teeth at the moment. I am currently away at sea and cannot visit a dentist. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these stains? Many Thanks.
