I Started my Treatment in India, Can I Continue it in London?

Wednesday, June 10th, 2015
Q.

Hi,

I got my clear fixed braces done in India on 22 May 2015 and wanted to continue my treatment in London.

I have got all my x-rays, teeth models and doctors’ reports.

I wanted to know the cost to continue with my braces treatment for the next 6 months and I would be going back after 6 months to India.

I wanted to get a quotation to continue my treatment of tightening of my braces.

Thanks.

Should I Go Abroad for Cheaper Dental Treatment?

Thursday, March 19th, 2015
Q.

Hi there. I’m thinking of going to India or Korea for possible implant dental work. Is it possible to get All-On-4 work done there? Do you think I am taking a risk? Are the dentists there as qualified as every time you speak to a UK dentist? They always make you feel that the work would be vastly inferior (though they don’t actually come out and say it) if you should go any where other than the UK. I am so confused as I feel that dentists in the UK actually charge prices that are so expensive, and I cannot see why. I am so confused and the whole thing is getting me down with the conflicting points of view. I really would appreciate your expertise and opinion. P.S. Are you also very expensive? As I would prefer not to travel abroad, but the high prices of dentists in the UK leave me little choice.

How to I sort out my badly done porcelain veneers?

Wednesday, September 26th, 2012
Q.

I foolishly rushed into getting 6 porcelain veneers a few years a go. It was at the height of this dental holiday nonsense. I had been in an accident, I was young, and I was desperate to get my smile repaired. I stupidly jumped in to it without looking at what could go wrong.

Anyway, they took away most of my teeth to fit them. I was shocked to when i realised they had done this. They subsequently moved (the veneers)- and i’ve never been happy with them. In-fact far from improving my confidence they have left me very insecure.

I\m really upset, a brace would have been the way to go, but now this is not an option as i don’t have my original teeth.

My question then is, is there anyway that i can have my smile repaired so it looks natural? i actually want it to look just normal, maybe even not perfectly straight. Just a normal smile so i’m not thinking, oh my god i must look like one of those fake simon cowell people everytime i open my mouth.

PLease help. i just need to know there is a solution, it’s really upset me.

And also, how do i know who to go with??

What do you think about going abroad to receive dental treatment?

Thursday, August 30th, 2012
Q.

Hello,

I had a tooth extracted as I kept getting gum boils below it. The dentist advised best tratment is dental implant which would cost in the region of £2000. Second option to have bridge which will be anchored to tooth in front and tooth behind as the gap is so big. This will cost me £900. I am contemplating going abroad to have the treatment but not sure because my regular dentist may not want to provide after care should I require any further treatment. What is your advice on going abroad for treatment?

Can you give me any advice about receiving implant treatment abroad?

Friday, October 21st, 2011
Q.

coul you please advise me as to the best place to recieve full dental implants abroad ,i have several teeth that are broken at the gumline but have not had them extracted yet as i thought this would start bone loss of the jaw and would make treatment more difficult.i am in need of a full set of implants on both upper and lower jaw and unfortunately,am a extremely nervous patient so would require a general anesthetic while undergoing treatment , only have a budget of approx 10000 pounds so going overseas is my only option, ive been told instanbul and hungary are very good but would value youre opinion and advise on how to start this procedure .

I live in Canada but am visiting England for a few weeks, could I get a brace in England?

Thursday, May 12th, 2011
Q.

Hello Dr Safeer Butt. 🙂
I actually live in Canada but I was hoping you could still be of assistance in my particular case. I was just wondering how much it would cost me to get braces in England as i may be coming for a few weeks. As you may know braces are extremely expensive here and iwanted to know how much the prices are there. I dotn mind the traditional braces but a brief overview of the cost would help. Also how ong would it take for me to keep them on, and when can i remove them. Plus i know you have to get them tightened every month so can i just get it tightened in canada?
Thanks for your time Dr!

I had 6 veneers abroad but one fell out. They are offering free replacement but I can’t afford to go there again. Can you help?

Friday, October 8th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I had 6 veneers done in Hungary but 2 weeks later one of them came off. Now, I have a guarantee with the dentist and they said it would be fixed for free but then there is the cost of going there and getting the temporary one fitted in and then going back for the actually veneers to be fitted. I really don’t have all that money, so i found a dentist that does it for £370 but I’m not sure to what quality! I guess I just wanted to ask, what you think of veneers costing under £600? Thanks,
