I have teeth gaps do your teeth get filed down to pegs for veneers

Monday, February 25th, 2008
Q.
I have gaps in my top set of teeth and have always wanted to be rid of them and have an even gap free smile. I have been browsing the web to see that this problem is more often than not gotten rid of with veneers however I was under the impression your own teeth get filed down to mere pegs for the veneers to be fitted please can you confirm if this is the case, thank you.

Lumineers veneers for my sensitive teeth?

Sunday, February 24th, 2008
Q.
I have very sensitive teeth. My dentist has suggested that I have 6 teeth veneered. I prefer the idea of lumineeers . When are these not suitable? Are they harder to colour match. How long would it take from start to finish and what is the approx cost. How long would ordinary veneers take to fit and what would be the cost?
