Would An Implant Work For My Broken Tooth?

Friday, May 24th, 2013
Q.

I have a broken off tooth, which i am told cannot be crowned because it is below the gum line, what is available treatment and cost bearing in mind the tooth next to it is crowned. If an implant is the answer will it affect the tooth next to it.Is there any other solution and can i have the rest of the teeth whitened. I live near Bath so what is the closest practice to have the treatment. Could i have the other teeth veneered and how much does it cost?

I need dental implants to replace my top teeth. But I am on low income. What are my options?

Monday, December 3rd, 2012
Q.

I don’t get income support, but I do get disability payments. I can’t wear my top teeth anymore as they don’t fit and I’m fed up with them falling out, especially when I’m talking. I can’t eat while wearing them, so I don’t bother to pu.t them in anymore. I would like to have dental implants, bit I’m not sure if I have enough bone. Also I don’t want them to cost me the earth. as I am on low income. can u please give me some advice. I really would like to be able to smile again, but at the moment, I can’t
Yours Respectfully

Is there another solution to dental implants?

Friday, August 27th, 2010
Q.
I have lost all my teeth due to gum disease and have dentures top and bottom. I understand I would not be able to get implants due to the bone in my gums. It there another solution that would suit me and can you supply a cost.,

Can you give your opinion on implant treatment and cost?

Monday, February 8th, 2010
Q.
Mr.Moore, you caried out two implants for my wife in 2002.I have a denture covering four missing teeth in the upper jaw.Missing for some thirteen years. You insisted my wife had a CT scan before any dental work was carried out.I have been quoted some £5000 for three implants and three abutments with four/three porelain crowns.I think(to be confimed)this dental work would be carried out based only on X Rays.I would like your opinion on this proposal and the £5000 cost.Thank you.,

After my wisdom teeth were removed I had facial pain

Monday, January 4th, 2010
Q.
In May of this year I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the age of 37. I knew there would be risks but I wasn’t prepared for what I would go through. Shortly after surgery I noticed that the right side of my face had changed a little, it was a little sunken in more than the other side. I went back to my oral maxillofacial specialist to make sure that my new xrays didn’t show any deviations. After 1 hour of waiting for the new xrays I was told there were no devations. I’ve had MRI’s done, a CT Scan, and currently I am on Short Term Disability for a military curvature in my neck. The MRI’s and CT’s came back normal. I thought that this was all due to the military neck but am not so sure anymore since my facial difference is even more apparent now. It is now December and I am at a loss now. I want to see another Oral Maxillofacial specialist but am scared because of what happened to me with the other. The symptoms I got in the beginning were facial pain only on the right affected side. I got some nausea, and a radiating pain in the back of my ear, on the same side of course. I am scared and don’t know what to do. I also get neck pain, and this is what led me to the chiropractors. Thanks in advance for your answer.,

Cost for reconstructing my teeth following periodontal disease

Thursday, November 5th, 2009
Q.
I am about to start looking for a dentist to do some reconstructive work on my teeth. I am about to lose many teeth due to genetic periodontitis. I am willing to have some existing teeth pulled if it makes the procedure easier – I do not hold out much hope for most of them. My preferred option would be bridges secured by implants, if possible. Can you advise me of the options I may have and the cost implications of same.
