How Much Would It Cost for my Son to Have All His Teeth Removed?

Friday, February 20th, 2015
Q.

Hello. My son has very bad teeth so has to have all of them out, but he lost bone in an accident too. So roughly how much would it cost for that and how long would it take? He’s only 17 but I know I have to wait until he is 20 to have it done, would I be able to pay in installments or pay all at once? So could you send me a breakdown or payment from each teeth and bone graft? He’s in a lot of pain so they are looking to see if he has got gum problems too. If so, would that be a problem too? Thank you.

Is There a Way to Get My Smile Fixed at a Low Cost?

Wednesday, September 10th, 2014
Q.

Hey, Dr Hughes. I have a few missing teeth and the teeth I have are discoloured. I am getting so down about their appearance. Is there any way I can get them fixed so I can finally having a bright smile like my friends, but at a low cost? I have been told that treatment will cost around £5000, and that would be for a couple of implants, teeth whitening and a new crown. I cannot afford this and I hate leaving the house due to my smile. Do they have students learning or something that could do it or any other cheaper alternatives? I’m stuck for options. Thank you for reading this question.

Friday, December 6th, 2013
Q.

Hi Dr Shaffie. My dream is to have real teeth again. Since I was fitted with top dentures my worse nightmare has come true.  I am 49 years old and I’ve had top plastic dentures for 3 years now. I have stopped going out into the public I’ve lost my confidence completely. It’s impossible for me to ever save up whilst I’m on income support. My dream come true is to get my all my top teeth fitted with implants something is telling me to ask a dentist online. Is there any clinic which offer reduced rates to help my dream come true. Thank you.

I Need A Lot Of Treatment, What Options Or Advice Can You Provide Me With?

Tuesday, October 1st, 2013
Q.

My teeth are all brown and not in a good shape, the lower ones are crooked as well, they are very short, guess my biting isn’t very good or maybe I have a grinding problem, I am 46 years old and very desperate, could you please give me some advice and give me a rough figure of the cost? I have a very badly filled tooth and I can’t use my right side any more, on my left at the back, I have gaps and eating is becoming a nightmare. The front ones are chipping and biting is becoming a challenge, I can’t even bite into an apple, please give me all the options cause with my teeth to all get done it looks like it will be very expensive.

I Have A Chipped Tooth And Want It Repaired. How Much Do You Think It Will Cost?

Tuesday, January 8th, 2013
Q.

Hello Dr. Kalpesh Bohara, I have a chipped tooth (front tooth) and I wanted to have composite bonding. Please can you advise how much it would cost to repair a chipped tooth using this method. It is only chipped in one corner of the tooth. The tooth has been chipped for a long time but  and I did want it sorted when it happened however my teeth were crooked and I had to have braces put on. I have only just had my braces removed and was interested in getting my chipped tooth repairs years ago however my dentist had told me not to repair the chip now and advised me that I should get my teeth straightened first. And now my braces are off and my teeth are all straight. So the priority now is getting my chipped tooth repaired now and I shall have the smile I want. And advice you can offer will be helpful. I look forward to reading your response doctor. Thank you.

My dentist tells me that I can’t have a bridge on the NHS. Is this true?

Friday, October 21st, 2011
Q.

My dentist has just told me l need a new bridge as my old one is leaking, and any bacteria getting in could rot my teeth underneath. I asked if l could have it done on the nhs at the band three price of £204 he said no? I asked why….he said the nhs remedy…we are talking the realms of dentures.!Is this correct? All information l have read says that a bridge that is needed is available at £204 on the nhs. I do not want to challange him or complain as i’m sure all dentists are the same and l dont want to be left without a dentist. If this is correct l think all the literature out there saying you can get a bridge on the nhs at the band three price is a total myth, and is giving people false hope. I have been told in the past that all dentists undertaking all dental work under the nhs are adequately recompensed for anything they do. Can you clarify the situation for me please. It seems as usual the people with money will have nice teeth the rest of us dentures!! Thank you.
