how much does it costs to fill the gap between my front teeth? its just a natural gap. i hate it! its becoming more wide as time goes by.. please do help! it used to be a small tiny space between now its become bigger! can there be anything i can do to fix it. like what sort of treatment is about for this situation? i have thought about stuff but am not up to date with procedures. also about braces, what are they mainly used for? can they help? i would like it if you can make recommendations because i now find it difficult to smile because i hate the gap. my two front are really nice but just without the gap! if i do use braces will i have to use them forever? this would cause me quite a lot of stress and i would rather avoid it do you know is there any permanent solution?

Monday, March 4th, 2013Hi iv recently been told i have the start of gum disease and one of my front teeth is loose i have had root canal but dont know what the cause is, as im only 22years old my looks are very important to me and im worried now that my tooth may fall out. This is causing issues with my confidence and is affecting what used to be a very good social life so i really wish to get it sorted, so rather than have a false tooth fitted I would like a front set of veneers as these seem like the best looking option So my questions are Would that be possible? how much would that cost me? Friday, March 1st, 2013Hi, I have a large gap in my tooth from where a part of it has been knocked out, I also have quite a large over bite, and very discoloured teeth. I have always been affected ted by my teeth ever since I was young. It really knocks my confidence during everyday life and makes things difficult. Especially social occasions, for example; I won’t smile at people or for photos and I cover my mouth when I speak. I was wondering if porcelain veneers would sort these problems out and if so would I be able to claim them off the NHS as I’m a single mother of a 2 month year old baby and would not be able to afford them without the NHS’s help

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010 I am turning 18 this summer and starting university away from home this year.
I have a reverse overbite and have previously had braces, however my teeth have relapsed from a period without retainers.
I feel my bite has changed, as I now find it difficult to close my mouth without catching my cheeks in the process and find that my speech has changed as a result.
As a prospective medical student, I feel this will damage my confidence, especially when communicating with my patients and also personally.
I have researched the proceedures available and am aware and prepared for the commitment and post-operative care.
Do you think I am a suitable candidate for corrective surgery, who would I need to talk to, how long will the treatment take and would it be available to me on the NHS?

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010hi there, my younger sister is 15 years old and she is very depressed about her teeth. Her teeth have decayed and discoloured and she has also got missing teeth. Her teeth are affecting her confidence and i am very concerned, i have caught her crying a lot and she also does not go out with her friends much anymore. would you suggest going to the doctors to see what they say as there are many people that get such things free on the nhs when it is causing depression… many thanks,

When i whas young i whas given antibiotics wich probably effected my glaze, so my teeth slowly changed in color , i had a brace aswell for like a year and a half but when they were removed my teeth just started move again. They are mainly straight and in good condition but I wonder how long they will last (I am currently 30) and if there is anything I can do to improve their look. Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010I have a molar in my lower right jaw with an infection in/below the root canal. The tooth is crowned and has been infected and recrowned previously. My dentist and I are agreed that the tooth must go! Antibiotic treatment is making me feel unwell and not solving the pain problem completely – I am now in my second week of high-dose antibiotics, having been changed from penicillin to Clindamycin today – and I would like to lost the tooth asap. I hope to have an implant to replace this tooth/crown and have been told that I would be suitable for one. My own dentist (A) does not perform implants, but has told me that the dentist at my practice who does (B) would like to extract my problem tooth himself to see how it “sits”, etc. I have two problems with this: i) dentist B does not want to take the tooth out at the moment and ii) I am not sure that I feel confident about dentist B conducting the implant procedure. Can I decide where to have my implant performed after my own dentist, dentist A, has extracted the offending tooth?,
