Two dentists however have told me that veneers would look bulky on my teeth. I don’t understand – why would they look bulky if a veneer is the same thickness as the amount of tooth removed?

My teeth are in line, but I do have a 6mm overbite (which does not bother me). Would this be why they might look bulky?

I know you have a brilliant reputation for putting patients at ease, as this is also a problem for me, dentist phobia.

Anyway, Dr. , if you were able to help me, I can’t express how I grateful and happy I would be. I realise that you are a specialist, but my teeth are so bad that I doubt even you can do anything with them.

A composite has now been appiled – slightly better but I remain self conscious. I have lived with a sinus tract over the area since 1989 – my NHS dentist helps me by ” leaving alone” – I get by with occassional discomfort. Because the area is ” weak” can anything be done? Feel a bit depressed over it. Live in Flixton and saw your web page

Hi, I had veneers put on my top 8 teeth about 8 years ago. Over time my gums have receded a bit and there is a visible line between my gum and where the veneer hits my tooth, one of them being a little bit dark. Only on my two front teeth though. I really don’t want to have them replaced at this time if I don’t have to. Is it possible to use white composite to fill the gaps? Will it hurt my dental health if I don’t have them replaced now? I’ve also read that they tend to “pop off” after you’ve had them replaced. Need unbiased advice on whether I should have them replaced or not. Thanks!!,
