Dear Sir/Madam. I had 12 composite veneers fitted – 6 on the top 6 on the bottom. I have chipped one at the front and am very unhappy with them. The dentist matched them to my natural colour which is very yellow! I am not fussed with the bottom row as you can hardly see them but I would like the top row removed and replaced to achieve a very white Hollywood smile like the celebrities.
Do you think this could be done?

I had a composite build up done on my front four teeth two years ago. The acid erosion issue was with the front two only but the dentist suggested to get the front four done to achieve symmetry etc. Now I need to get the treatment redone because of staining. Is it possible for me to get the composite build up/composite veneer done on the front two only and have the composite removed from the side ones? Thanks.
I’m a 20 year old male and when I was younger I chipped my 2 front teeth, about 5-6 mm from the inner side of each tooth creating a small arch in the centre of my smile. I’m looking into the options I have to fix this. I’ve researched dental bonding and and composite veneers and would like any information on my options and what you as a professional see as the best option for me.

Hello, I am a 16 year old girl and very conscious of my smile. My dentist says I have a peg lateral and I got a filling to make it look better but now it’s stained. Can I have composite veneers? I’m told I’m too young for porcelain veneers. Do I need drilling?Can it be done without drilling, and is there any harm in them? Can I not choose to have porcelain veneers or replace them when I get older? Please help with advice, I would be grateful.
I recently had composite veneers on my top front teeth 6 in total and want them redone by a different dentist in January, as they don’t look right. The colour is completely off and the surface is very uneven. Is this normal? They have also broken off and crumbled twice and I’ve had to go back. The first time I tapped one when I drank from a cup and it literally disintegrated – surely this isn’t normal? They are also not straight and two teeth are now wobbly with gaps, which I didn’t have before, and I have healthy gums.Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer.
Hi Mark. I’m wondering if you can help me. I have a single gap in my teeth between the front two teeth both upper and lower jaw. I have always been conscious about it so am wondering at what the cost is so that I can have these gaps removed? The gap on the top is roughly around 2-3 mm in length and the gap on the bottom is about 1-2 mm. Would I need braces to fix this problem? I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards.
Hello Dr Hughes. I hope you can help me. I have a problem with my teeth that they have some protrusion and multiple diastema. I am not annoyed about the protrusion but I don’t like the spaces so I had them treated with composite veneers 7 years ago and now my composite veneers have turned yellow. I know I need orthodontic treatment but I am anxious about all braces. What are my other alternatives? I have a video for the case if I can send it? I am 28 years old. Hello Dr Mark Hughes, I knocked my front teeth out at a young age which resulted in getting lots of dental work, finishing with NHS veneers placed on four of my front teeth (my front teeth being the teeth next to the original front teeth and the fang teeth being next to the current front teeth). I think they are composite veneers as they are wearing gradually. I had them for about eight years. I’m concerned about how they might be underneath if they were to come off as I can’t remember the preparation involved and I’m not sure of my options, I been told that I can only get them private or have them stuck back on if they were to fall off or crowned (crowns scare me a bit as I already have small natural teeth) Would I qualify for NHS veneers again if they came off?
Hi, Hello Doctor Moore. My problem is that I have very small adult teeth which means that I have gaps everywhere and my two front teeth seem huge in comparison to the rest. My two front teeth start higher up in the gum and they go past my other teeth. My teeth beside the front ones are also very small and pointy and there are gaps on both sides of them. There is no gap between my front two teeth and it makes me feel like a little kid with two rabbit teeth. I’m 16 and becoming very self conscious about my smile. What options do I have to make me have a normal smile?

Hi I am desperate to have veneers but cannot afford porcelain , would composite ones be the next best thing or should i go for the snap on smile ? I really need to get my teeth sorted as I have been asked if I want to be a Marilyn Monroe look a like ! Having my teeth done would make all the difference .
