Can I still get a crown over my chipped tooth?

I finished my root canal procedure about two weeks ago. I was eating and realized my tooth broke. The dentist didn’t advise me that my tooth would be extremely sensitive.I was suppose to go back for a crown eventually. Can I still get a crown over my chipped toth? What do you think the chances of saving my tooth are?,

What is is the best filling I can have?

i have a chipped tooth, bottom left at the back towards the tongue side.the tooth already has a small filling.i had the chipped tooth filled with a white filling but it came out after 24 hours. i want a filling which is permanent. please give me advice on which is the best filling to have. the dentist has told me that if the filling comes out he will fill it in again.,

Can veneer be removed and replaced with better looking one?

I had bonding done 6 years ago on 2 chipped front teeth. Although it still looked good I decided to have it done again because there was some decay setting in. My dentist placed a veneer (unsure what kind) on another tooth next to the bonded one. I think he did it because it had a filling and the color didn’t match with the bonded ones. Unfortunately, I really don’t like the way it turned out. Can he remove the veneer from my normal tooth and how can he fix my smile after the work has already been done,

Would bonding or veneers or a filling help with chipped tooth?

Hi, Can you please advise – is dental bonding the same as a ‘filling’? I have a chipped front tooth and have had it filled by my dentist somewhere around 10 times over the last two years – it keeps falling out. due the dentis ‘chipping’ away at the tooth each time this chip has now become much much larger – resulting in a big gap between my teeth (i feel as though half of my tooth has gone) I have also looked at veneers but am put off due to the fact i think it would be far more noticeable against my other front tooth. could you please advise on this also. I wanted to ask about the options to repair the tooth. 1 week ago, I noticed right upper 1st premolar posterior cusp got half broken postero-medially. I damaged the tooth while brushing. What can be done for chipped tooth treatment gone wrong?

Hi my boyfriend chipped the edge of one of his front teeth – whilst he had a white filling added two weeks ago it had come off while he was eating. When he went back to the dentist this time he asked for another filling but was concerned as it might just keep coming off – the dentist said he could use a pin but didn’t like to do that procedure So my boyfried thought he would just proceed with doing a normal filling and that he would just have to keep going back every time it came off But the dentist went ahead without consent to using the pin which has cracked his tooth and you can see it clearly through the white filling. My boyfriend is absolutely devestated. We live in rural wales and NHS dentists are like golddust so we have to go with whatever dentist is conveniently near! What do you recommend that he does? I really need your advice! Many thanks,
