Hi there. I’m thinking of going to India or Korea for possible implant dental work. Is it possible to get All-On-4 work done there? Do you think I am taking a risk? Are the dentists there as qualified as every time you speak to a UK dentist? They always make you feel that the work would be vastly inferior (though they don’t actually come out and say it) if you should go any where other than the UK. I am so confused as I feel that dentists in the UK actually charge prices that are so expensive, and I cannot see why. I am so confused and the whole thing is getting me down with the conflicting points of view. I really would appreciate your expertise and opinion. P.S. Are you also very expensive? As I would prefer not to travel abroad, but the high prices of dentists in the UK leave me little choice.

Should I Go Abroad for Cheaper Dental Treatment?
Thursday, March 19th, 2015One Of My Teeth Hides Behind Another, What Options Are Available?
Thursday, May 30th, 2013Hi, I have a tooth that is behind my front tooth and behind what I think is a canine tooth, I have had self-esteem problems with this tooth for years because it looks like the tooth is not there, I am wanting a cosmetic treatment to solve the problem but I am not sure which treatment is most suitable for me. I am also a student so cost will be an issue. Could you possibly recommend a treatment that will work for me and that is particularly cheap? Also if you could give me an estimation of what price you think it is likely to be that would be brilliant too? Thanks, hope to hear from you soon.
My teeth are healthy but crooked and misaligned, how can I fix this?
Thursday, February 14th, 2013Hi,
I would like to know the best method and cheapest way to fix my teeth. My two front teeth are overlapping badly, and this is causing overcrowding in my mouth. My teeth are not straight , some are crooked on my top row of teeth because of this overcrowding. Some of my teeth are slightly eroded on the bottom row due to acid erosion. My teeth are not aligned so there is discomfort when I bite and I also have some discolouring. I do not want to damage my teeth as they are at present fairly healthy but I want my teeth to be straight and the damage sorted out/ covered up. I was wondering which is the best course of treatment? How long does it last, and finally what would be the total cost of the treatments?
Thanks
My gums are receding and I am not sure whether I would be too old for denture implants?
Thursday, February 14th, 2013I have had full dentures since I was 18 I am now 56, I suffer from a very dry mouth all the time and my gums are receeding and miss shaped. I feel ugly and old I would like to have implants but because of my gums I don’t think that would be possible. Is there anything that can be done for me. I cannot afford private treatment and I have no Social life as I am so self conscous of how I look. I have seen so many people who’s dentures drop every time they speak I am terrified of this happening to me, and without my teeth in I already look about 90. I have suffered in silence for 28 years because I thought I would be called vain or stupid, but as I have got older the feeling has got worse I just want to feel and look normal.
I suffered from Bulimia in the past and this has affected my teeth, what can I do to fix them?
Wednesday, December 5th, 2012Good Morning,
I wanted some advice on veneers and prices. My two front teeth at the top looked cracked and are slightly discoloured. This has been a result of Bulimia in the past. What can I do to rectify my teeth, as am worried about there appearance and are they weak and will they fall apart without veneers. It is only those two teeth I am mainly worried about as they look the worst. I have my bulimia under control but need to sort out the appearance of my teeth. I am also on a very strict budget so need to look at all my options, but if I dont get my teeth done they physical appearance of them looks even more depreessing to me.
Many thanks

Can my wife receive cheaper treatment?
Thursday, September 2nd, 2010Dear Dr Solanki – My wife (32) has suffered in the past with bilemia (from 13 to approx 25 yrs old), and this has caused her terrible probelms with her teeth. She has lost most of her back teeth and her front teeth are very weak with fillings and cracked in places, which to some extent has caused her to be depressed resulting in mild return of the eating disorder. She/we are on benefits (child tax credits) but we both are also working and she holds an NHS card – we unfortunately just cannot afford to have the neccessary dental work done, quoted at £7k, can you please give us any advice on how and if we could recieve and help from the NHS or where we might find treatment cheaper?,
