I Feel Self Concious About The Way My Face Looks Without Some Of My Teeth. How Can I Replace My Missing Teeth?

Wednesday, January 8th, 2014
Q.

I am a 33 year old girl and I’m currently missing my bottom back teeth due to a calcium deficiency, and my top two front teeth were punched out due to domestic violence. I am really self conscious as your teeth shape your face and my face looks withdrawn and my other teeth are falling out due to my gums shrinking. Can you please advise me on what I can do thank you very much. I think I’d need dental implants to fix these issues is that right.

I Feel Like I Get Judged About The Patches On My Teeth, But I’m Not Old Enough To Have My Teeth Whitened. What Can I Do?

Monday, November 18th, 2013
Q.

On my front two teeth, one of them have a big white patch and it makes the rest of my teeth look more yellow than they actually are. And I’m starting to get a few others and the front of my upper teeth. I want to try whitening them but I’m afraid that white patch will get whiter, and I really want it off because I don’t feel comfortable with it and I feel like people are always judging about it. My dentist says I have to wait until I’m either 16/18 to get it off (he didn’t say how) but I don’t want to wait that long, what can I do?

I Had A Calcium Deficiency During My Pregnancy. Can Anything Be Done To Rectify My My Smile?

Thursday, September 26th, 2013
Q.

During pregnancy I had horrible case of calcium deficiency, my teeth shifted and I suffered significant bone loss. I would like to know if your six week smile program would be ideal for me since it is a lot gentler in regards to the movement of teeth below the gum line.
My lower central incisors are slightly twisted, the lateral incisors have moved slightly behind the central incisors which have resulted in lower crowding.
My upper central incisors have moved forward and my gum line has elevated a bit, also I have developed a space between them. My right lateral incisor and canine have shifted slighted behind each other. My upper right first and second pre-molars were extracted. Also I have filings in both my upper first molars.

Please advise if anything can be done to rectify my smile. Regards.

do i need vitamin D supplemnts before a dental implant

Monday, August 18th, 2008
Q.
I don’t think I have gum disease but I do have receding gums hence exposing roots, I clean and floss my teeth twice a day and very parnoid about them which I have been for most of my life (I am a month off 60 years old) Typically never took care of my teeth as a youngster but certainly from my late twenties I have done my best to keep what teeth I have. Now I believe I will lose my back crown because of the root exposure which is causing me some pain. If I have the crown and root removed because the recession is so bad will I be able to have an implant in that area? I have recently had a bone density scan which indicated that I need Calcium and Vitamin D supplements
