I’m having pain after a new filling in my back molar #30, only when I eat, chewing on food. I had a white composite filling put in. I had it x ray, and the dentist said it look fine. The root and filling look fine. The dentist said I could be experiencing some inflammation in the tooth from the procedure. The dentist didn’t think I had a crack and no infection. He smooth it down a bit, and told me to take Aleve pain medicine over the counter. The filling is mostly on the backside of the tooth. Would this make the tooth more prone to being sensitive to biting for awhile? How long should I wait after a filling, if it doesn’t get better? It’s been 8 days since I had it done. Thanks.,
