Hi there, Im 27 and having a nightmare with my teeth, I havnt been to the dentist in over 3 years because my husbands salary went up and we are no longer entitled to it free. Anyway, my top middle tooth had previously had a black filling in, and the other day while I was eating a crunchy pizza, I heard a crack and half the filling fell out, the tooth is wobbly at the back half and Im really sore. Every time I swallow, I taste a chemical taste and worried about mercury poisoning (if not, what is the taste?) I have to find a dentist on Monday, and wont even have the time off to get it fixed until next Friday, whats the best thing to do until then, is the chemical taste harmless? half the filling is still there. Thank you This is horrible

I have had many fillings in my front teeth (6-11). Some of them came loose after a couple months. My dentist said that he would like to cap these teeth. He said that my fillings will just keep falling out. Is this true? I have become very depressed about my teeth. I want to keep my teeth for as long as possible. I am only 30. What are my options?

Hi, I have a front tooth whith veneer and it started feeling a bit tender and painful for a couple of months, my dentist is suggesting a root filling but being one of my front teeth I am very worried if it tuns out okay without any visible damage afterwards. The pain is not severe and is acutally bearable but feels tender. My dentist also says it might fall out at some point which is devastating for me. Can you please advise if I should get the root filling done and if there is any way to save the tooth.
