straighten teeth without a brace

Q. can you straighten teeth without having to have a brace i.e surgery…. My front tooth is not as forward as ve others and would like it correcting. How much would this cost if so…..

A. Teeth can be straightened without surgery using braces ( fixed or removable) provided that the underlying bone is basically in the correct place.  If their are severe bone position problems( the upper jaw is very far forwards compared to the lower jaw for example) surgery may be the only option
