Should I have to pay for a procedure if I have had it twice before and something has gone wrong?

Q.
I had a porcelain crown fitted and just over 12 months later it fractured. It was sent back to the lab but they would not admit any fault on their part. I had a new crown made to replace it and my dental clinic reduced the cost of this by £90 as good will. However that crown as now fractured in the same place as before and approx. after the same length of time. I have an appt. on Weds but would not be happy if I have to pay for a 3rd time. Where do i stand?
A.
Dear Enquirer,
If the same problem is occurring with the same tooth, the practice should make good any work needed and you should not be charged a third time.
