Should I ger braces to close tooth gaps before implants?
Q. Dear Dr. Moore, I have gaps between my teeths. Recently, I lost a tooth adjacent to the gap and I’m considering dental implant to replace the missing tooth. Should I put braces to correct the gaps before the implantation or can I get braces put in after the implant. Thank you,,
A. You could either depending on the location of the gaps and the position of the implant. Ask your dentist for more detailed advice.
